Welcome to the IL CARDO – Special Rooms and Special Apartments in the Mountains!

- “CARDO is the Italian name of a Mountain’s Flower” -

Few Houses, a fountain, located at the threshold of the woods, near the forest and in front of the valley, with the Dolomites (UNESCO World Heritage) at the horizon and just above the Lakes of Piné.

The mountain atmosphere brings into the House the scent and the flagrance of the musk, thymus and resin, together with the sound of the small river passing by near the House.

This is “Pitoi” (the geographical location), this is the essence of IL CARDO (the House).

We are offering rooms and apartments for different needs (2-3-4-7 bed rooms – for a total maximum of 16): a very special and peculiar atmosphere, simple, quintessential and refined in a corner of the earth for lovers of nature/mountain/silence.

The House offers the occasions to re-appropriate with a more natural rhythm of life and to taste a natural way of life (for couple of days, at least)!

The House could be the point of departure for excursions, walks, cycle-rides and adventures with “ciaspole”, with ski…towards alpine summer houses, mountain refuges and mountain summits (did you know that mountaineering and summit inspired the expression summit for political leaders like Churchill?)…

Here a very place in the mountains…and a source of ideas/inspiration. We look forward to meeting you!
