This fine self-catering holiday home nestles in the hills above Puerto del Carmen in the Canarian Village of La Asomada. You are only a 5 minutes drive away from the district town of Tias, Lanzarote’s main resort of Puerto del Carmen and the renowned marina of Puerto Calero.
On arrival at the Casita, you are greeted with a welcome pack, which includes light and strong refreshments.
Casita Canaria rental accommodation offers two bedrooms, one twin and one double, one bathroom, (walk-in Shower) a large light and airy lounge and a fully and well equipped modern kitchen. Adjacent is a self-contained studio with large double sofa bed, shower room and small kitchen. The whole holiday home is perfect for a family with a grandparent or a family friend. Of course, both units can be rented separately.
All 3 bedrooms have good sized wardrobes with drawers and hanging space and two units have a built-in safe. The modern kitchen offers a full electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, large fridge freezer, espresso and washing machine. Apart from the usual electric kettle, coffee maker and toaster, there are many more useful kitchen utensils provided.
Outside there are two terraces, the upper terrace has a shaded area with seating facilities and there is a lockable gate which prevents small children from getting to the pool terrace. The lower terrace has the 8m x 4m solar heated salt water pool, so no chemicals are used in this pool. The pool is private if the whole property is rented, or if the studio is not let. In the cooler winter month, the pool can be additionally electrically heated for a small charge of £90,00 per week. The upper terrace has a barbeque, dining facilities for six persons and comfortable sun loungers. There are sun loungers by the pool too. The whole property is wall surrounded and private and so is the pool, if you rent the total holiday accommodation, or if the studio is not occupied.

Had a great week staying in Casa Canaria! When you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy apartments and hotels, this is the perfect answer. We had the two bedroomed apartment but there is also a studio apartment next door so it would be ideal for an extra couple or solo person joining you on holiday. The view is really lovely being so high up on the side of the hill with the sea and the mountains in the distance. There are some other villas nearby but nothing too close to cause a distraction. The peace and tranquility was really enjoyable. The owner who lives nearby couldn't have been more helpful after we arrived and the welcome pack was very generous. There is everything you need in the apartment and it has a very homely feel. Outside there is a large terrrace with steps leading down to the large pool but there is a safety gate should you have children. We enjoyed using the lovely new gas barbecue provided and we ate outside most evenings or we drove to either Puerto Calero and Puerto del Carmen for dinner. An added bonus is the availability of BBC and ITV programmes. So a great week in all and we would love to return, highly recommended!
We have just enjoyed the most relaxing Christmas Break at Casita Canaria. The villa is superbly equipped with everything you could possibly need. The pool is of an excellent standard and very clean. The superb wifi and advantage of having UK TV channels in the evening is a real bonus. The welcome pack provided by Peter was most welcome. If you are looking for a villa with everything away from the hustle and bustle of the town centres look no further!!!!!!!! We will be back
We stayed 12 days in this lovely place. For some of us it was the first time on Lanzarote. The casita and studio was fantastic. All you need for a good time was there, lovely saltwater pool, nice terrasse with sunbeds and an extremely nice view over the sea, diningtable and sofa arrangement outside. The house was so well equipped and there was a start kit with fresh food and drink, which turned out to make our day. We arrived late in the evening. Very thoughtfull of the owner. The house it situated in quiet surroundings close to the beautiful and artistic made wineyards. Shoppingfacilities, cosy restaurants and beaches near by. We rented a car from Autoreisen on the owners recommandation. Nice little car, cheap and no problems at all. We recommend the casita to all who wants a quiet and relaxing holiday.
