The villa offers views on the old village of Forcalquier and Luberon Mountains. Its proximity to the old village and a region rich in activities offers an ideal vacation house for large families or for families with guests.

The house

This 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom villa and small guesthouse in the garden are located in the village of Forcalquier in Provence. House and garden guesthouse, completely furnished and comprising together approximately 120 square meters, accommodate up to seven people.

The property covers 1100 square meters and is entered through an intercom gate.

The housing quarters are made of the main house and the garden guesthouse.

The garden is South oriented. It is protected from the neighborhood by its situation and its lush vegetation. Garden and terrace offer impressive views of the old village, the Citadel, and the Luberon Mountains. The largest part of the garden is entered directly from the house via the terrace, or through two garden gates within the property.

Parking space (for more than one car) is available within the compound.

The property is located less than five minutes by foot from the center of the village.

Activities

In a most typical region of Provence in France, to the North-East of the Luberon chain of mountains, at an altitude of about 560 m, Forcalquier offers a dry and contrasted climate, sunny warm days and cool nights, with frequent clear skies (highest average in France). Forcalquier boasts a 12th century cathedral, Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, an ancient, centuries old town center featuring Renaissance fountains, doorways from the 12th to 16th centuries, and the rests of its Citadel at the top of the village, the Chapel Notre-Dame-de-Provence and a 16-bell carillon, which offers breathtaking views on the region.

The town and village active center is at a short walking distance from the house.

How to get there

Forcalquier is located at the door step of Luberon Regional Park.

The A 51 Motorway (Marseille - Aix en Provence - Gap) passes 11 km east of Forcalquier. Take exit La Brillane.

Marseille Marignane Airport is at an hour and 10 minutes driving by car.

TGV train stations in Aix-en-Provence and Avignon are within about an hour's driving distance.

A regional train links Marseille's central station Saint Charles to La Brillane, which at 10 minutes by car from Forcalquier

Terms and Conditions
Payment Policy
For rentals of more than a week, starting the second week the rental rate is reduced by 50,-- per week. Deposit EUR 500,-- to be refunded maximum 3 weeks after end of rental period. Additional charges: final general cleaning EUR 150,-- General conditions Maximum 7 persons may be accommodated. At the booking, a lease contract will be sent. At signing by the lessee, an advance of 25% of the total lease price is to be paid. The remaining lease price, together with deposit and cleaning charge to be paid at the latest 4 weeks before date of entrance in the house.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation, 100% of the rental price will be refunded, but only if the cancellation is made more than 28 days before the start of the rental contract. during the 28days preceding the start of the contract 50% will be refunded. In case of no show no reimbursement takes place.
