We have a host of covid-19 safety measures in place so that your retreat to the Somerset peace and quiet is safe as well as enjoyable. We also have an amazingly generous cancellation policy (at least we think so!).

The property is a highly adaptable luxury holiday let, owned by my family for around 400 years. It is a lovingly cared-for home for your friends and family to come together for reunions, anniversaries, weddings and special occasions. Full of family antiques, portraits, memorabilia and over 5000 books, it is completely self-contained, offering privacy, quiet space and seclusion.

Set in 22 acres of beautifully tended and welcoming gardens and grounds in the heart of a pretty Somerset village, the property is exceptional. There are two houses – Park House and Park Cottage. These may be let separately or together to give you a very large holiday home and free range of the full the Estate. Guests tell us it feels as though the family have just moved out so that you and your guests can be welcomed into its warm embrace.

The property can accommodate from 6 to 18 adults plus children/infants. It is child- and pet-friendly and is well adapted to cater for those with  limited mobility.

Beautifully sited with ample parking, Cossington Park is within easy distance of Glastonbury, Wells, Bath, Cheddar, Burnham-on-Sea, Bristol and many other West Country beauty spots. Situated only 3 miles (5 kms) from the M5 motorway and international transport links.

Park Cottage is a sturdy stone Victorian house previously known as Ethel’s Cottage, in memory of our former housekeeper who lived here. When my grandmother went to France to nurse the sick during the First World War, and sensed that she would not return, she said: “look after the house, Ethel”. Ethel did so until her death four decades later. The large light kitchen/dining/sitting room provides relaxed and contemporary living space. Glass double doors blur the lines between inside and out and give easy access to the decking outside, al fresco dining, barbecue and garden. There is a ground floor bedroom and wheelchair-accessible wet room.

Terms and Conditions
Payment Policy
30% deposit on booking; balance 60 days prior to arrival. Plus a refundable security deposit that will be held on a credit card 10 days prior to arrival and released if all is well 10 days following departure: Cossington Park Cottage - £300
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation due to enforced Government restrictions, 100%. For almost all other reasons, bookings may be cancelled up to 2 days before arrival for a refund of 100% less an administration charge of 5%.
