The beautiful apartment, composed of vaulted ceilings, supported by Corinthian capitals with Maggiolini-style furnishings, which make the spaces unique and precious, has 3 large bedrooms, a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, a living room with a balcony overlooking the sunny square of San Pier Maggiore. It is located in the center of Florence, 3 min. walking from the "Brunelleschi's cupola", Santa Maria del Fiore, 5 min. from Santa Croce square, Signoria square, Uffizi. 15 minutes walking by the station.
The space
The beds are all new. One of the 2 bathrooms has no shower, the other has a shower box fairly wide and comfortable.

Maria Elena’s home is located in Florence, Toscana, Italy. The apartment overlooks a square with pubs and shops of all types. In the heart of the city, 3 minutes from the Duomo.
Getting around
By car: the apartment is in the center of Firenze. You can enter in the town every day from 8pm to 9 am. Saturday from 4pm and Sunday all day. There is a garage (25€/day) just in front of the apartment that allows you to enter in the town by car at any time. Otherwise there is a Parking at 700 m without entering inside the forbidden part of the city. The best is to park in a farther free parking and walk in the city. Walking: you can rich any part of the old city walking. You can also rent bicycles.
Bus: there are plenty of buses passing near by the apartment.
The apartment has 3 large bedrooms, a large living room a equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. It is equipped with sheets, blankets, towels, soap, shampoo, crockery, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board, TV and a sunny balcony overlooking the beautiful square of San Pier Maggiore.

We rent the house for minimum 3 days and for 290€/day for 10 people, and for 170€/day for four people in high season and 250€/day for 10 people and 140€/day for 4 people in low season.

We stayed in the apartment for two weeks over Christmas and New Year's. The apartment is located in a great location relative to getting to the major sights and museums. The location makes for a really pleasant walk after dinners and lunches. You can see a major sight, and hit the apartment for a breather and get to another sight in time before they close. There is a grocery store about a minute away that has everything you need. The apartment is very spacious and has room for a family of four with plenty of extra space. The kitchen came very well stocked with some sweets and a very nice bottle of wine. The washer has a dryer function which makes it very convenient to pack light. Maria was very quick to respond to questions and very flexible on checking in and out. We checked in on Christmas Eve, so we were thankful for Maria meeting us as we arrived from the airport. There is a lot of pub noise late into the night every night. It may have been due to the holiday season, but it could be loud for light sleepers. The beds are all very comfortable. The heater worked very well as we were there in a colder season. The bathrooms are great for a family of four. The water was hot and plentiful. A great stay and great hosts!

The apartment was great! Large and clean. We were a large group of 6 adults and 1 child, and we were very comfortable in the space. The location cannot be beat. It’s very central to all the major sites. It’s located above a square so it does get noisy if you tend to go to bed early, so be warned. Other than that it’s an amazing value!
Brilliant apprtment, had lovely stay here. Loved the arched ceilings and columns. Great location, very central, short stroll to the cathedral. The rooms are all very spacious, wider than they look in the photos. The kingsize double room is actually a super-kingsize bed - really enjoyed the extra comfort. The appartment overlooks a square with several bars and restaurants, it can be noisy in the evenings especially at the weekends but all noise is blocked out with the balcony doors closed (although then you lose the breeze) so if you're a light sleeper use the fans provided instead.
Let me start by saying Maria is a wonderful and attentive host who has thought of all the little details. The house was perfect for 5 grown adults. Walking distance from most sites in Florence and the best gelato in the world. By only issue is that I didn't stay longer in Maria's house and Florence. Great outlook into the forum ford

We stayed at Maria Elena's apartment with our 4 little boys for 3 nights. It was so close to many restaurants and the supermarket. There isn't any air conditioning but you can get a good cross breeze through the kitchen and from the entry room to the living room. We really enjoyed all the space the apartment offered and loved our stay in Florence!
We traveled to Florence as a large group of 8 people (guys and girls, no couples). Maria Elena’s place worked out very well as there was a place to sleep for every person. It is big and spread out so we did not constantly feel like we were cramped. We had been looking for a very simple place to stay, and Casa Fiamma exceeded our expectations. The location was walk-able from the majority of the old city. It is just far enough from the major sites that there is not a ton of foot traffic immediately around the apartment, and there is no shortage of good dinner choices close at hand. If you are traveling in a big group this place is a great choice!
Our stay in this home was exceptional. It was very clean and the beds were very nice. The location was perfect and we enjoyed the dining and shops that we very near this home. Thankyou for this memory of Florence.
