Very comfortable, great breakfast, helpful staff, amazing restaurant which is frequently visited by the locals. Overall, a great experience.
The most memorable for us is the food- we enjoyed our breakfast meals and dinner at Il Grillo Moro which is just next to our apartment room. (Over-ordered a steak for dinner; we had the spare taken away and had it heated the next morning. AWESOME BREAKFAST FLORENTINE STEAK!) Loved also the staff, very friendly and helpful. Our upgraded room (the apartment) was ace! We woke up early enough to watch the sunrise, both road-side and behind the compound overlooking a field. We will always look back to our stay in Tuscany as superb and will yearning for a repeat. Wishing we stayed longer to do day trips with a rental car and come back at night to this very lovely home. We miss Merina the black cat!
Everything was perfect, starting with hosts, Emanuele was very kind and helpful with details about how to organize our holiday in Tuscany. The location is magnific, close to Siena and other small villages. The restaurant Il grillo moro is very good, with fine cuisine and reasonable prices. People are very friendly, we felt like home. The breakfast was excellent...and cappuccino yummy!!!
The staff was excellent, the room was cozy and really warm as the weather was not the best one. I highly recommend this place for everyone that cares about details and comfort!
The staff was so nice and guided us with the best driving plan in the whole Tuscany area. And the restaurant next to the guest room was amazing. Oh, I have to share with all of you, who will see my comment. Do not miss the homemade cake during the breakfast. It was the best cake we have ever tasted in Italy. I will bring my family here definitely again.
Great team of staff. Rosella wakes up every morning at 5am to bake delicious cakes, Olga helped us a lot with tips and Emanuel is a very friendly guy. We also enjoyed the restaurant a lot. Chef is a fun character and food is yummy. Appreciate the discount you get at the restaurant as staying guests. They helped me organize a surprise dinner next to the pool for our anniversary. On the day we arrived after a 10 hour drive we wanted to eat in the restaurant but 5 mins after we sat down our newborn baby got fuzzy and my wife had to go to the room with her. We had just ordered our food. The staff/chef was nice enough to have her food delivered at our accommodation. Enjoyed the free bikes!
