Poggio Foco is an organic farm on 550 hectares, ideally situated high on the Maremma hills, with a splendid panorama that stretches from Monte Amiata to the sea, a mere half-hour drive away.

Majestically set between the towns of Manciano and Capalbio, Poggio Foco is equally near the sandy beaches of Ansedonia and the renowned thermal baths of Saturnia, at which Poggio Foco guests enjoy a special discount.

As a vacation destination, Poggio Foco offers spacious apartments in stone buildings, and every apartment is decorated with antique furniture so that guests may truly enjoy their “own” country home. Each apartment has a living room with fireplace and television, a kitchen, and bathroom(s).

Guests also enjoy Poggio Foco’s swimming pool and restaurant.

The Farm offers spacious apartments furnished with antiques in 5 stone buildings of the farm complex, where guests can enjoy vacationing in their “own” country home. Each apartment has a kitchen, living room with fireplace and TV, bathroom(s), and its own separate heating. All the apartments are fully equipped and furnished with care so that every guest may enjoy a comfortable stay. Moreover, each apartment has a private outdoor area. Cleaning service and a change of linens are provided weekly, as well as a change of bath towels at mid-week.

Restaurant

After an active day, our restaurant offers entrees of traditional maremma cuisine prepared with many of the Farm’s organic products, including vegetables from our garden, maremma veal, lamb and wild boar, oil from our olive trees, goat cheese. Before dining in the candlelit stone hall, guests may enjoy an aperitif of the local vintages in our wine bar.

Swimming Pool

The pool, located in a panoramic position with a large private garden, has recently been equipped with a water heating system with solar panels that provide a pleasant temperature even during the months of May and September.
The pool water is treated with sea salt.
