The “Il Borgo di Villa Cellaia ” was born from the renovation of a small village from the 1700s that included the manor house, the farmhouses, the barn and the noble chapel.
Located in the hills of Mugello, Tuscany, surrounded by centuries-old cypresses and olive trees, it wants to offer its customers a relaxing stay in apartments equipped with every comfort but with the possibility of visiting a city rich in art and history like Florence, easily reachable by car or train.
Guests also have access to a saltwater swimming pool and a wellness center with a hot tub, sauna, steam bath and emotional showers.
The structure is also suitable for receptions and ceremonies.
The resort is run by Stefano, Lisa and their three children.
Apartments
All of our apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, living room, bedroom(s) and bathroom(s) with shower, air conditioning and an independent heating system. Some of the apartments have a fireplace or a fireplace heating system. Each apartment has more than one TV set. The apartment kitchens vary, but they all have an induction hob, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, oven, sink, tableware, glasses, cutlery and saucepans. Some kitchens have a microwave oven. In the communal area there is a launderette with a washing machine and a dryer.
THE OLD BARN APARTMENT 2
This apartment is the result of the renovation of the old barn (originally used for grain drying) and can accommodate up to 4 people.
On the ground floor there is a living room with a fireplace and a sofa bed and an equipped kitchen.
On the first floor there is a double bedroom overlooking the village of Dicomano and a bathroom.
On the ground floor the covered loggia allows al fresco dining and on the first floor there is an equipped terrace.

This apartment is derived from the farmhouse renovation and it can accommodate up to six people.
On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen with a fireplace and a living room with a sofa bed.
The living room gives access to a bathroom suitable for people with disabilities.
VILLA LOFT ATTIC
The loft includes a single room, a double room and a bathroom.
The loft area displays features that are typical of mansard living spaces, like skylights and a lower window height compared to the windows on the ground floor.
VILLA APARTMENT 3
Villa apartment 3 can accommodate up to 4 people and consists of a living room with a sofa bed, an equipped kitchenette and a spacious ensuite double bedroom.
The apartment opens onto a spacious terrace overlooking the mountains, equipped with tables and umbrellas.
It is is possible when booking to combine this apartment with the villa loft.
VILLA APARTMENT 2
Villa Apartment 2 can accommodate up to seven people and it consists of a large living room, a large, fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms and a bathroom.
VILLA APARTMENT 1
This apartment can accommodate up to six people. Overlooking the residential area of Dicomano, this apartment consists of a large living room with fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as a spacious terrace where you can eat outside.
Services
There is a small wellness area where our guests can find a jacuzzi, emotional showers, a sauna, a steam bath and a relaxation area. From the month of May till October, to make your stay more enjoyable, you will have access to a saltwater pool surrounded by countryside with splendid views of the Comano valley. There are two barbecues and a pizza oven that guests can use in the communal area.
There is free parking. The outdoor area is monitored by an internal CCTV system. In the following pages you will find information regarding our facility and recommendations on things to do and places to visit in the surrounding area.
In the communal is available a launderette with a washing machine and a dryer.
How to reach us
By car
Arriving from the north, YOU SHOULD LEAVE THE HIGHWAY AT Barberino, than follow signs for Borgo San Lorenzo, and after for Dicomano. Arriving from the south, YOU SHOULD LEAVE THE HIGHWAY at Firenze Sud, than follow signs for Pontassieve, and after for Dicomano.
By train
From Florence Santa Maria Novella station take the train to Dicomano.
