Agriturismo Il Mulinaccio : A Farmhouse with 4 Rooms and 5 Apartments

Organic farm with production of live, oil, saffron and white truffle area, located on a hill 9 km from Volterra. The company is family run with a restaurant with a typical Tuscan menu and an exclusive wellness center with Turkish bath, jacuzzi, SPA massages and a tasting room.

Our farm is family run. We live in the manor house, the same one where, on the ground floor, you will find two of the common areas: a covered terrace where you can enjoy an aperitif on summer days, and a lounge with a fireplace, sofas, TV and table where you can spend an evening in the season cold.

The reception is located in the newly built house in the middle of the park, between the play area and the growing orchard. In the reception house you can also find products of our production for sale.

In the second cottage you will find the apartments and rooms for tourist accommodation. Each environment has been recently renovated, with attention to detail, maintaining the authenticity and the Tuscan architectural tradition. Complement the elegant and refined outfits to guarantee comfort. In our structure we pay attention to the environment, we try as much as possible to be eco-sustainable, avoiding water waste, energy obtained from renewable sources, zero km and organic feed.

In the large lawn that you will find on arrival in spring you can enjoy the cherry blossoms, in the autumn you can watch the grape harvest and the olive harvest. In addition to oil and wine we grow saffron and we have a truffle ground in which we can organize unique experiences for our guests during the season when truffle picking is allowed. The third farmhouse houses the restaurant where you can enjoy breakfast with homemade cakes and local products, in summer a permanent gazebo will allow you to eat outside.

In the evening, upon reservation, Maria will cook traditional Tuscan dishes with local and zero-kilometer food on a set menu. Obviously the pool could not be missing, where, in addition to deckchairs and shaded areas, you can find a small spa with Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, sauna and massage area. We are at your disposal for any need, even for short stays (except July and August), weddings and special occasions.
