Dragoi holiday house is located in the village of Socolari, 12 km from Oravita. To get there easily, from Oravita you will go in the direction of Ciclova, Ilidie and Socolari, where you go to the Orthodox Church in the village, and from there, there are apx. 200 m to the destination.

The house is built of brick, BCA and stone, etc. - finished in faience, ceramic wall and floor tiles and lots of glass. The house is surrounded of green spaces and has a garden with fruit trees. The waterfalls of the house, surround an inner courtyard with flowers, grass and vines - consist of an apartment and three bedrooms with a private bathroom that provides cold and hot running water permanently. The kitchen has the shape of a living room and is equipped with everything you need for self-catering, and on request, breakfast can be served. The house also has a free wifi installed, which covers the entire property. For cars there is a parking platform, also free. The security of the entire surface of the house is ensured by video cameras.

For lovers of hiking and excursions, the house through its position, offers the opportunity to visit: Maria Theresia Fortress is the closest site to our village, apx. 4 km on foot - was built in 1731 by the Empress's soldiers with stone from the bed of the Bei and Nera rivers, considered at that time, the most distant bastion of the empire, Ochiul Beiului is a small natural lake fed by a spring submerged with water green-blue, which never freezes, and the purity of air and water, banishes stress and depression !, Raul Bei long apx. 8 km, flows through its meanders of a disarming beauty, on a bed of limestone until it flows into the river Nera, Beusnita Waterfall 30 m high, is one of the most picturesque panoramas in the country. Nera Gorges, the most beautiful and longest gorges in the country, approx. 17 Km.

These beautiful places can be reached on foot through beautiful landscapes, broken as if from the past. The distance that separates the village from these wonderful places is less than 6 km. Alternatively, you can go by car on a partially paved road, which passes 20 m from the entrance to the Nera gorges.

Also from Socolari you can make trips to Oravita, where you can visit the Mihai Eminescu Theater in Oravita, a unique jewel of Viennese Baroque, the first theater built in Romania in 1817 and the first building in Europe, lit with acetylene lamps. From Oravita you can take the train for a trip through the Banat Semering to Anina - it is the oldest mountain railway in Romania, with 10 viaducts and 14 tunnels, all dug in the rocks of the Anina Mountains - was built between 1845 and 1854. Also on the same day, from Aninaa, you can reach Bigar Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world, after the American site `Geographical Wonders`.

The entire area around the Socolari is part of the Cheile Nerei - Beușnița National Park, where there are also: Devil's Lake, the ethnographic museum from Sasca Montană, together with the Călugăra monasteries from Ciclova and Nera.
