The property is nestled into the hills of the Sierra Subetica Park, in the heart of Andalusia, just few minutes drive from the picturesque white village of Iznajar and its rightly renowned lake.

Its location is secluded yet not remote combining peace and easy access to local bars, restaurants and shops.

The villa is a modern build in a form of an old cortijo, reuniting tradition and inclusive design elements, so that it is not only pleasing to the eye but also inherently accessible to everybody regardless of their age or ability.

The property with its vast 5 acre olive grove offers an unrivalled standard of accommodation. It consist of two separate apartments which can be rented together or separate.

The apartment downstairs sleeps 8, has 4 bedrooms with ensuite roll in wet rooms, vast reception area, big professional kitchen.

The apartment upstairs sleeps 5 and consist of 2 rooms, one triple and one twin, two bathrooms and a living room with American kitchen.

In the garden there is a good size pool with sunbeds and pergola, and there is plenty outside sitting area. The views are stunning from all around the property.

The location of the property is also perfect for daytrips to the most famous historic gems of Europe. Cordoba with its Mesquita, Granada and the Alhambra Palace and Seville are each just an hour away. Alternatively discover the seaside and spend a day at one of the beaches of Costa del Sol or visit Malaga.

The accommodation

The villa is fully registered and it is the only casa rural superior in the area, offering unrivalled standard of accommodation. The villa, rewarded with an ”A” grade energy certificate, keeps you nice cool in the summer. It is also equipped with biomass underfloor heating, making it a perfect holiday home all year around. Its rooms are bigger than usual giving you and airy feeling even if you holiday with a big family.

The villa has two separate apartments which can be rented together or separately.

Ground floor

The whole downstairs area is level, including the access to the pool. There are no steps, so that it is accessible for all generations regardless of their age and ability. It is not only appreciated by guests in wheelchair, but also by elderly and moms of toddlers.

The vast lounge area has several seating places. In the library you find many guides and lots of games and toys, allowing you to plan your discovery trips throughout the beautiful Andalusia, while your kids can keep themselves busy. The large selection of books and hundreds of films ensure that nobody in the family gets bored.

It is a delight to prepare your meals in the fully equipped professional kitchen. Alternatively you can visit one of the local restaurants, excellent value for money, or just stay home and order delicious meals from a local bar.

The lounge area opens to a huge terrace with magnificent views, ideal for BBQ and alfresco dining.

At night you can gaze at the stars and enjoy the best view of the Milky Way you have ever seen.

All the four bedrooms are set around a traditional Spanish courtyard, separating them from the lounge area and offering more privacy.

The rooms are bigger than usual giving you a luxurious feeling. You can either move the twin beds together or leave them apart, depending on which suit better your needs.

All linens and bath towels are provided so that you can travel light. Even a baby cot can be provided for our smallest guest.

Upstairs apartment

A separate entrance, from the ground floor of the villa, leads to the staircase of the apartment. Hence this part can be totally separate from the ground floor.

The apartment sleeps 5 persons. It contains one triple room with a king size bed and an additional single bed (17 m2) with ensuite bathroom with shower; and one twin bedroom (14 m2) with bathroom with bathtub.

The living room has a cosy seating area where you can gather and relax after your discovery trips to Granada, Malaga or Cordoba. The living room leads to a private terrace where you can watch the beautiful colourful sunset which will surprise you every evening. But it is not the end of the show, when it gets completely dark at night, thousands of stars light up above you. During chillier evenings light some wood in the log burner and enjoy the dancing lights of the warming flames and the crisping sound of the burning wood.

You can have fun cooking in the fully equipped American kitchen, or just visit a local bar and discover the rich Andalusian cuisine.
