Holiday house, ancient and big tuscan country house tastefully and carefully restored, is set close to the castle of Montecchio on the edge of Valdichiana. It is ideal for touring many places of interests such as Florence, Arezzo. Siena and Perugia or smaller towns, but not less interesting, such as Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Assisi, Montalcino, San Gimignano, Volterra, Orvieto etc.

LOCATION

The holiday house is situated in the quiet countryside among fields and olive groves, 400 metres from the road SR71 where is the nearest bus stop along the line Arezzo-Cortona. The main railway line Rome-Florence is only 3 km far (Castiglion Fiorentino train station) and the A1 highway exit of Monte S. Savino is 15 km. Also within easy reach are the main airports: Perugia 70 km, Florence 110 km, Pisa 175 km, Bologna 200 km, Rome Fiumicino 235 km, Venice 360 km, Milan Malpensa 450 km.

APARTMENTS

The property is comprised of the main house, where the owners live, and other indipendent and furnished apartments: Tino, Coltro and Giogo where can be comfortably accomodated, depending on their size and possible combination, from 2 up to 6 people for a total of 12 guests. Each apartment has its own equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, TV Sat, indipendent entrance, private outdoor patio/garden, parking place.

Some additional beds are available on request for a fee

TINO : STUDIO APARTMENT FOR 2 PEOPLE

Studio apartment of about 35 m² with a fully equipped cooking area, dining and sitting area, bathroom with shower, sleeping area with a double bed (twin beds on request) and a small private garden. Air conditioning. It is ideal for two people and has some facilities which may be helpful for handicapped guests.


COLTRO : APARTMENT FOR 2 OR 4 PEOPLE
COLTRO2 (middle sized apartment)
apartment version of about 50 m² built on two floors. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting area, bathroom with shower at groundfloor, large double bedroom (twin bed on request) with small toilette at the second floor. Nice patio/panoramic outdoor terrace. 
It's very comfortable for 2 people who can host, if necessary, an additional guest in comfy sofa beds (on request).

COLTRO 4 (large sized apartment) 
apartment version of about 100 m² built on two floors. It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting area, a second kitchen/living room and two bathrooms with shower on groundfloor, two large double bedrooms (twin beds on request) with small toilette on the second floor. There are a nice patio and a panoramic outdoor terrace. 
It's very comfortable for 4 people who can host, if necessary, additional guests in comfy sofa beds (on request).


GIOGO : APARTMENT FOR 2, 4 OR 6 PEOPLE

GIOGO2 (middle sized apartment)
Apartment of about 50 m². It has a fully equipped kitchen, dining and sitting area, a double bedroom (twin beds on request) and a bathroom with shower. There are an outdoor garden and a panoramic terrace. It is very comfortable for 2 people who can host, if necessary, an additional guest in comfy sofa bed (on request).

GIOGO 4 (large sized apartment)
Apartment of about 100 m². It has a fully equipped kitchen area, a very large living room, 2 double bedrooms (twin beds on request in one of them) and 2 bathrooms with shower. There is a nice patio with garden. It is very comfortable for 4 people who can host, if necessary, an additional guest in extra bed (on request).

GIOGO 6 (larger sized apartment)
Apartment of about 115 m². It has a fully equipped kitchen area, a very large living room, 3 double bedrooms (twin beds on request in two of them) and 3 bathrooms with shower. There is a nice patio with garden. It is very comfortable for 6 people who can host, if necessary, an additional guest in extra bed (on request).



CAR RENTAL

For guests who decide to arrive by plane or by train we offer the possibility to use the services offered by our small car rental company. It's possible, depending on the guests needs, to hire a car with driver for private transfers and tours or to rent a car without driver.
