Description
For many years this apartment was the home of an art history teacher who taught at a prestigious art high school in Venice. She was a passionate teacher who is remembered fondly by her students. Mariangela, was also a painter, who spent many hours studying and painting in the apartment. She believed in equal rights for all and was a fervent reader.

Mariangela lived her entire adult life in this apartment, travelling often and bringing back art and statues and books to study and enjoy. You can still admire some of her paintings and thousands of books on history, politics and art. The apartment is an artist’s home, and this open, vibrant feeling remains for visitors to enjoy.

A real typical Venetian apartment in a palast of 16° century, with original flair. In a central area full of shops and restaurants but very quiet because at roof floor and away from the noise of the streets, with a typical Venetian terrace on the roofs (which Venetians call "altana") and a beautiful view till San Marco. It's equipped with kitchen, two bedrooms, living room entrance.

The apartment is located in a central area of Venice, half the way between railway station and Rialto bridge, with easy access to major attractions, along the nearby Stradanova or crossing the Canalgrande with the gondola channel passage service at St. Marcuola.

Near to many shops restaurants and facilities. In 3' walking yoy'll arrive to rastaurants, banks, supermarkets, greengrocers, pharmacies, tobacconists, optical shops

Very quiet

The apartment is on the top floor of a 1700 building overlooking the roofs of Venice. You will be immersed in the silence and the sounds of the lagoon. It's extreme quiet will let you enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Venice and the lagoon.

Payment Policy
The reservation concerns an entire apartment for tourist rental and the stay can have a maximum duration of 30 days per calendar year. The reservation includes cleaning, change of sheets, rugs and towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel. The apartment has a kitchen and the reservation does not provide breakfast and meals. The average prices are 130/night + 40€cleaning fee + 20€/extra person
Cancellation Policy
one of the two cancellation policies applies alternately, depending on the rate chosen by the customer during the booking phase: 1) Refundable Rate: The customer can cancel free of charge up to 14 days before arrival. The customer pays the total amount if he/she cancels within 14 days before arrival. The customer pays the total amount in the 14 days before arrival. 2) Non Refundable Rate: Available and applicable only to reservations made more than 30 days in advance of the arrival date. Prepayment. in case of cancellation, 100% penalty on the amount paid.
