Stone-built apartments with a spectacular view of Santorini

Niko's place is a short walk from the centre of Pyrgos, which is a smaller town than Fira, the capital just to the south, and Oia, the picture-perfect tourist town at the very northern tip of Sanorini. Pyrgos gets its fair share of tourists - it has a well preserved old town and churches and castle sitting high above the main town. It also has a good variety of eateries, ranging from taverna style to very sophisticated restaurants. It is centrally located on the island, making it easy to access the variety of sights and experiences offered by Santorini. Niko was a very helpful host, arranging a pick up from the bus station in Fira and providing good information about the island. The apartment is at ground level, easily reached by car and a short walk from the bus in central Pyrgos. It is new and well presented. I would recommend it to travellers looking for a place that is quit but close to all facilities. We rented a car for a day and covered much of the island easily, but just a leisurely day in Pyrgos was rewarding too.

We had a wonderful stay at Nikolas’ house. He’s an excellent host and the place was clean and in a great location, very easy to find. We would stay here again!

Niko is a superb host. You can tell he really cares about his guests. He arranged all of my transfers and met me late at night to orient me to the area and the apartment. I only stayed one night as I was going to one of the islands. The view from his place is amazing and the history of his family and their wine making on the property adds a wonderfully personal touch. I highly recommend renting from Niko. He is a wonderful host and always available. He doesn't miss a detail.

The apartment is exactly as depicted in the images and just a few minutes away from the town nearby. To note: Nikos is a very welcoming, thoughtful and responsive host. He also helped organizing transportation even later in the journey past our stay in his apartment.

Nikos's place exceeded my expection. When we arrived, we were greeted by Ms. Kelly (I think I am spelling her name right), who welcomed us with warmth and love, and made us feel right at home. After a grueling journey from US, her friendliness and warmth made us feel right at home. Niko's place is charming, clean and cute. We rented a car for our visit in Santorini, and his place was able to accommodate the car right in front of the property. The place was perfect for my wife and me. Everything was just perfect. Nikos was very prompt in responding to all my questions within a couple of minutes. We truly felt comfortable staying there, being in a foreign land. Niko's place is 10 mins away from Fira, 10 mins from Kamari Beach by car, and right in the middle of everything, so it was ideal for us, with none of the crowds that these towns experience. The town of Pyrgos has really wonderful people who were sweet and welcoming, even though we didn't speak a word in Greek. I will highly recommend a walk up to the center of the town, and having food in the restaurants there. It was warm and friendly. Truly a vacation from the ordinary!
