Beautiful house garden

If you are going to rent a car for your vacation in Madeira (highly recommend anyway) this place is just perfect! We had a wonderful time at Casa Belo Jardim - the house is equipped with everything you need and beyond - especially the small details and surprises make this place unique and romantic. We loved the kitchen with the fireplace. And of course the wonderful garden that makes you feel like you are in a tropical oasis.. we had fresh avocados from the avocado trees for breakfast and were fascinated by all the flowers and plants in general. We were very warmly welcomed by Paulo, who is not only host but also created this amazing garden. Thank you for explaining us everything so well :) There is a supermarket (pingo doce) just 5 minutes by car close to the beach of Calheta. The area of Calheta is super nice in general and a good start to explore the wonderful island of Madeira. If you choose Casa Belo Jardim im sure you won’t be disappointed!! :)

This is a very beautiful place for relaxing and enjoying a precious garden work with the background of the ocean. Besides sunsets you can enjoy the presents of two adorable cats and a chicken in the garden. The garden itself offers exotic plants such as banana and avocado trees and many gorgeous flowers. There is a little water stream and even an open fireplace. At the welcoming we experienced a very detailed tour of the garden and the surrounding huts. Paolo always takes care of the garden and lives next door. This place is very recommendable for a relaxing stay and start off point for hiking trips. Up the hill there is even a paragliding station.

I enjoyed everything in my recent stay at the house, the garden was neat and cleaned every morning.The house also has convenient space for parking. Paulo was naturally great in keeping property and the garden and was ready to help in case required. The location itself is very close to popular levadas and various nearby villages such as Madalana do Mar and Riviera Brava where you can try seafood cheaper and better than in Funchal, and the beaches itself are less crowded. The property situated at the sunny side of the island unlike to the opposite side ( Ponta Delgada, Sao Vincent), where the climate doesn't seem to be that convinient. So overall it feels like the owner of the propery welcomes the guests with passion , and keeps service at the highest standards which is very much appreciated. Therefore the stay there is very much recommended, you will not regret!

We had an amazing stay in this beautiful apartment, the gardens are incredible and so much work has been put into them to keep them perfect. The house is wel equipped for wed catering and has everything needed and Paulo was also very helpful. The roof top terrace has amazing views, and the addition of the little pool was a life saver as it was so hot. We loved spending time with Julia the chicken although she laid no eggs for us! The seafront/ lovely beach and excellent restaurants are about 5 mins drive away but too far for us to walk. It didn't matter but just to point out to others that the beds are single and not next to each other. Many thanks for letting us into your oasis of peace, Ben and Jo

Casa Belo Jardim is better than we expected! We were estonished by beautiful garden and cozy house. Paulo is an excellent host, very friendly and helpful. We were accompanied by Julia the hen and cat. We spent wonderful time in the small garden pool on the roof and also discovered levadas in the area. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful place with gorgeous garden and everything we could ask for, loved the pet chicken (and her eggs) and Paulo was fantastic and looked after us very well.

We had a wonderful time at Ana's place. It was such a nice flat and really an amazingly beautiful garden. Paulo (who welcomed us at the place and took care of the premises) was always very friendly and helful. We would love to come back one time.

Unterkunft ist genau wie beschrieben, sehr gute Lage, Dorf zu Fuss zu erreichen, schöne Dachterasse, wunderbarer bunter und kreativer Garten, Ana haben wir nicht kennen gelernt, aber Paolo war ein super Host, hilfreich bei allem. Avocados vom Garten, Guaven von den Nachbarn, alles, super, leider durchmischtes Wetter. Aber danke für den tollen Aufenthalt und die so liebevoll ausgestattete Wohnung

Un tout grand merci du fond du cœur à Paulo pour son accueil chaleureux, pour sa gentillesse, sa serviabilité et disponibilité. Le jardin et les extérieurs sont juste MAGNIFIQUES ! BRAVO ! Un petit coin de paradis, un superbe endroit plein de charme ! Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à venir en vacances à la CASA BELO JARDIM. Nous conseillons vivement ce logement. Mille mercis !

Es ist ein wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt um verschiedene Ausflüge zu machen. Julia, das Huhn hat viele Eier gelegt, welche wir erst am Schluss gefunden haben... Der Garten ist grossartig und der Ort sehr angenehm und entspannend. Paolo und Ana sind sehr grosszügige Gastgeber, die uns mit Geschenken und interessanten Geschichten bereichert haben. Wir würden hier auf alle Fälle wieder herkommen. Vielen Dank für alles.

Das Highlight unseres Aufenthaltes in Madeira war auf jeden Fall die Unterkunft, Pauolo und Julia - the friendly chicken. Ein super schöner premierter Garten, der jeden Tag von Paolo gepflegt und gehegt wird. Frisches Obst was halt gerade im Garten reif ist am Frühstückstisch. Manchmal sogar ein frisches Ei von Julia, die ich am liebsten mit nach Hause genommen hätte...sie ist uns immer hinterhergelaufen und hat am morgen schon auf uns gewartet! Geräumig, mit sehr viel liebe zum Detail.... TOP
