An amazing, fully renovated, old house in Eftagonia village, just 15 minutes from Limassol, looks more like a museum than a house, with beautiful gardens, many pomegranate trees and a wonderful private pool.
The space
The house had been built in the begging of the last century and was fully renovated in 2006. It has got three bedrooms, one with two double beds, the other with one double bed and two single, the last - small - with one single bed. It comfortably sleeps nine people. All the bedrooms have got their air-condition. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need in order either to cook or just to make your drink, with a separate place for the kitchen table, sitting at least eight people. The living room will be the place where you spend most of your time since there is a a fireplace, a TV,DVD-player and radio. It also has free Wi-Fi internet. The veranda in the front side of the house is big enough for everyone to sit there and relax with the beautiful view of the countryside. The garden with the grass makes the sight much better while the colourful flowers and the small pomegranate trees complete the view. In the back side, a ''secret'' yard, surrounding with traditionally built walls and a swimming pool in the middle, compose the highlight of the house. There is all the barbeque equipment needed too.

The neighborhood Nikos’s home is located in Limassol, Cyprus. Eptagonia village is located northeast of the town of Limassol, just 15 minutes to the main highway joining Limassol and Nicosia. It's a small, quiet village, with about 350 people living there. There are coffee shops, supermarket and a tavern. It is the best place to relax away from the town!
Getting around
There is poor public transportation supporting the village so a car rental is recommended. In 15 minutes down to Limassol you find the nearest beaches, in 25 minutes you are in the beautiful old town. Having Eptagonia as your starting point, you can also travel across the countryside of the island. Also, at the house and around it, there is too much space for parking.

Cancel within 5 days of your trip and the first night is non-refundable, but 50% of the cost for the remaining nights will be refunded. Pomegrenate House is a lovely authentic Cypriot village house full of character. It's located in the quite village of Eptagonia 30 mins drive away from Limassol. Tucked between the hills, it's an ideal spot for a quite peaceful getaway. Highly recommended!

The location is great for summer time, as there is a nice wind from the mountains and the nights are almost cool. Perfect star gazing in the night outside from the pool or the front garden. Some night my boys even slept in the nice sitting area round the pool. Very comfortable and well equipped house - we did not miss anything besides more time to stay in the house ;))) Perfect internet in and out, perfect welcome with a nice cooling surprise :) Unforgetable, Thank you Nikos!

Nikos is a great host! He was always available to answer questions, made an effort to check in with us, meet us, and make us feel very comfortable and welcome in his home. The outdoor area of the Airbnb is absolutely amazing with a nice pool and lots of lounge space. Eptagonia is a cute mountain village with a lovely taverna and it is nice and remote. We were able to see so many stars just walking home at night. Absolutely beautiful!

The house is beautifully located at the foothills of the Troodos mountains. There are so many places where you can sit and lounge comfortably. Especially the pool area is AMAZING! We really loved how the house is very well equipped and stocked to cook great meals. All the pots, pans glassware, cutlery etc. you'll ever need. There is even a frappe machine, nice! Can't recommend this place enough, perfect:)

About the house: it is absolutely beautiful and very stylish family place made with great love, equipped with all you need at home. About location: that was a great bonus, we did not expect to live 500m. above the sea level with the calming view from the terrace and fresh mountain air, the walk around Eptagonia village is very nice.

It's a really-really nice house in the very traditional cyprus village. Nikos is the best host, he would be happy to help you with everything you need during your stay there. Great option for a small company of friends if you are looking for the rest off the big city. Anyway you need a car to get in and get out, but for the rest of that his house is the best option if you want to be close to beach but to stay out of tourist's crazyness during the season!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Pomegranate's House. The house and garden are beautiful and soo functional, it had everything! The village was fantastic and the people so friendly and warm. It is one of the best places to stay in Cyprus and our host Nikos and his family are lovely and helpful and made us feel so welcome. We would definitely recommend staying here and for sure we are going to stay again!
The appartment was VERY beautiful from the outside was modern and in the inside was like a musiem with lot's of old photos. There where everything we needed for breackfast(coffee, tea, milk, bread ect.). There where everything we needed (hair drier, iron ect.). The village was very quiet it was like we are alone in the village but there were some neighbours. The host in the other hand (Nikos) was pretty kind and very helpful, when we arrivedhe explaind everything to us and even said some things about the photos. The appartment was very clean and interesting. I definitely recomend this appartment!!!

Nikos as a host is most helpful, polite and hospitable, you couldn't wish for a better host. As for the house, there is no words that can really describe the experience, impeccably clean inside and out, everything works as it should. If you want to feel like your in Cyprus from the moment you wake to the momemt you fall asleep this is the house for you, I can't rate this place and the host highly enough. If you can secure this place for a relaxing holiday don't think twice, it's a home rather than just a rental villa, I visit Cyprus frequently throughout the year and have stayed in numerous places and this one is the only one that I will and have already booked to come back again and again. Thank you Nikos for the most amazing experience in your home and your village, can't wait to return. I could continue writing about Nikos and this wonderful beautiful home for pages and pages but I'll refrain and let you see and experience it for yourselves.

Our stay at Nikos house could be described in one single word: perfect. The house with its wonderfull garden is a dream. It is perfectly equipped and we felt at home at once. We really enjoyed our stay there and will come back one day for sure. Nicos (and his family) is a perfect host.

WOW! We were excited for our family trip to Cyprus but were a little hesitant since Nikos did not yet have any reviews. As our trip approached, our hesitancy began to fade as Nikos was consistently responsive and helpful. Now that our stay is, sadly, coming to an end we are thrilled to offer our complete endorsement of the Pomegranate House and Nikos as our host. When our family of 8 arrived we were blown away. Nikos was waiting for us at the house (very early in the morning as our flight had arrived at 6:20am). He was pleasant and eager to show us his beautiful home that he and his family have painstakingly refurbished and brought to life. The house was more than we had dreamed of...we lived outside as the yard and pool area are so welcoming and well thought out. We had all of our meals and spent all of our downtime outside. We were here for 8 nights so Nikos even came in the middle of our stay to clean the pool and mow the grass. The house's interior gives a taste of time gone by with an authentic Cypriot sense of history and pride. Family pictures and heirloom pieces give the house an authentic feel and gave us a warm sense of the history of Cyprus and the family. In short, make the Pomegranate House your home away from home on your next trip to Cyprus, you won't be disappointed!
The Pomegranate House is a delightful place to relax in. The house itself is almost like a museum - it has been very tastefully decorated, and is very well equipped. The outside spaces are fantastic - there were so many different corners to sit in, both at the front and at the back (which was great in terms of positioning ourselves relative to the morning and afternoon sun). All the furniture is of great quality - not a plastic chair in sight! The landscaping is marvelous - so many different shrubs, flowers and fresh herbs. The neighborhood was extremely quiet, even though we were in the center of the village, and only minutes away from the coast. Of course both Nikos and his mother were extremely welcoming, and generously offered several welcome drinks and treats. I am sure we will be back for another stay!

Staying at Nikos house was our first try and we we happy to find an amazing man that made us feel welcome and well taking care of. The pictures were accurate and more. Peaceful neighborhood and quit village. You can actually see the stars and hear the birds without any distractions.
We traveled to the Trodos and even to Aya Napa and it was great exit point to Pafos as well. 18 minutes to the beach and we enjoyed Nikos recommendation about beaches sites and restaurants. We couldn't ask for better host then Nikos. And we are looking forward to our next time in Limassol.
The kitchen is well equipped and so is the rest of the place. Enjoy!!!

Séjour dans la villa très agréable! Elle est aussi belle en vrai que sur les photos. Nous avons aimé son côté authentique, atypique et rustique tout en ayant des équipements modernes . La piscine est géniale, sans vis-à-vis , en plus des nombreux emplacements autour pour se poser et bronzer (le bassin est adapté pour les plus petits comme pour les plus grands). Située à 500 mètres d'altitude, sa situation offre un air respirable avec un vent doux en soirée. De plus, nous avions la climatisation dans chaque chambre. Voisinage sympathique et discret. Il y a une supérette à proximité pour éviter de se déplacer à Limassol; ainsi que quelques restaurants typiques à moindre coût et pour des proportions gargantuesques! (on peut emporter les restes ce qui était souvent le cas). Un grand merci à Nikos ainsi qu'à sa maman qui ont su nous accueillir avec chaleur! Merci aux chypriotes pour leur gentillesse! A découvrir!!!
