MONTE DO CERRO: 3 independent rustic homes

Monte do Cerro is located 4 km from the fishing village of Porto Covo and offers 3 separate T1 cottages, with bedroom and two extra beds for the youngsters, prepared to recieve groups up to four guests per house.

Casa do Sol, overlooking Serra do Cercal gives you a wonderful landscape together with the sunrise. One T1 category house with properly equipped garden to relax and recover your energies. You can also use the barbecue for your meals.

Casa do Forno is attached to a centennial wood oven for guests’ use. A T1 house with garden and view to the mountains of Cercal. This house also benefits from a barbecue next to the porch.

Casa do Mar, a T1 house, with garden and porch equipped for a holiday in full. Inside it is equipped with a full kitchen. This house emphasizes a view of the sea on the horizon.

All houses feature amenities such as rocking hammocks, lounge chairs, table for outdoor meals, garden furniture and all the amenities to make you feel at home.

Monte da Barranca offers a centennial house that can accommodate up to 8 people. The surrounding countryside is idyllic and rejuvenating. Easy access to beaches, 1.5 km from the village of Sonega, 8 km from Porto Covo, 12 km from Vila Nova de Mil Fontes and 15 km from the city of Sines.

Monte do Cerro is like a small oasis in a nature reserve, it is a place to relax and enjoy the best of the Alentejo coast. A perfect mix of the countryside and the sea, Monte do Cerro promises an immersive experience in the purest tranquility. A place for accommodation which enjoys a picturesque location with beaches nearby, located in the Southwest of the Alentejo Coast, on the Vicentina Coast Natural Park.

The historic city of Sines is 20km away, São Torpes is a 15 minutes drive, Vila Nova de Milfontes is 15 km and the International Airport of Lisbon is 170km.

The Area:
Monte do Cerro is located near Porto Covo but it is a very quiet place with a unique beauty for its location. It has centennial trees all around, very spacious and high luminosity.

It is 170 km from the International Airport of Lisbon where you can always rent a car or travel by bus. To arrive at Monte do Cerro you can also use the taxi services but it’s important to arrive on wheels because we are located 4 km near Porto Covo.

Other Observations:
If you have pet animals please bring their beds and dishes for their meals. Inform us if you have pets when you do your reservation.
