Accommodation for guests looking for peace and lovers of intact nature

We offer accommodation for our guests looking for peace and lovers of intact nature. Accommodation is suitable for cyclists, hunters, fishermen, etc. We do not prefer mass tourism.

"A" cottage consists of: 

1 double bedroom with bathroom on the ground floor
1 double room and one extra bed with bathroom (upstairs),
1 triple room with bathroom (upstairs)

The facility has a common area, ie living room and have the ability to make hot drinks (coffee and tea), refrigerator, microwave (I have described it yourself).
These are vacation rooms for 7 to 8 people. The extra bed is of the same size and size as any other bed.

"B" cottage is registered as a "Holiday House" and consists of:

2 double rooms on the ground floor with a shared bathroom,
3 double rooms on the first floor with a shared bathroom.
The property has a living room as well as a cottage A, plus a mini kitchen and associated dishes for preparing simple meals. It is intended for 10 persons.

We have a Holiday House for 17 to 18 persons with living room, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We also have a capacity in the neighboring facility that can accommodate 6 double rooms, with a shared living room. Our price per bed for 1 person is 25 euros. The other offer in our accommodation is breakfast preparation from local specialties and is payable on a daily basis and the price is 10 euros per person. Also, in agreement with our guests, we have the possibility to prepare the autochthonous specialties of continental Croatia such as wild game, fish pepper, etc.

As part of our accommodation we have a winery where our guests can consume our top quality wines at the best prices.

CABERNET SOUVIGNON 
We are proud to present our top product, multiple winner in many wine competitions. Coloured in mystical red, it is fully flavoured dry wine with rich bouqet and characteristic herbaceous aroma.  This moderate wine with 13% of alcohol and balanced acids is fully bodied and highly valued from connoisseurs and red wine lovers. To match the full range of this wine's flavors, try dishes ranging from grilled meat, meat in gravy to wildlife meat and high class cheese.

GRAŠEVINA

Light and fluttery white wine, well known by its other name Vies Rizling, is suitable for serving in all occasions. It expresses notes of green apple and citrus creating  feeling that spring is around the corner. Its flowery aroma makes it optional to serve as an aperitif, too. Suitable for mixing with water therefore cooling in summer and warming in winter. It has been 'wrongly accused' for being a common wine. It is all but common; best served with high class chesses.

CUVEE

Cuvee is made of carefully selected sorts and knowingly belnded four types of wine: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot and Game, all of them originated in our vinary. Cuvee is ruby red wine with rich yet vibrant body. Its carefully balanced alcohol and acids with wildberry aroma, becomes more exciting with every sip, suggesting the essence of love. This wine perfectly complements blue fish, red meat, mushrooms and gravys.

ROSE

Rose is a lady amongst vines. Gentle and easy, made from Cabernet Sauvingon, it has low percentage of alcohol. Macerated 7 hours the most to get etheral lacy tone but not to lose all the beauties of its sort. It is suitable with any dish in any occasion.

Winery and ‘Kusić’ wine cellars are located in the northeast of Croatia, where Drava and Danube meet. Our grape varieties are grown on sunny slopes of ‘Banske Kose’, well known as ‘Mali brijeg’; on surface of 9 hectares. Here, in very heart of Panonian plain, grapevine has been grown since the Roman times, unselfishly hugged and caressed by the sun.

Our winery and cellars are located on ’Zmajevac’ wine road. Once you set your foot down this wine road, you are about to enter an unexpected and mysterious world. Real fairytale.

Ancient name for the wine road is ‘Surduk’. ‘Surduk’ is packed with old cellars placed 30 metres under the ground level, where conditions are ideal for nurturing those perfect, magic drops. The wine drops have been lovingly produced in those cellars for centuries.

‘Kusić’ winery and wine cellars are placed in native surroundings where we managed to blend tradition with modern technology, without violating balance between man and nature. Keeping the balance in mind, we created wines hard to resist.
 

In those, for centuries preserved surroundings, we also offer accommodation. House for rest and rooms for rent are located across the winery, in newly renovated wine cellars, called ‘gator(s),’ which are protected as cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia.

The location of ‘Kusić’ cellars offers many other opportunities, as well. Besides our diverse wine offer and other local top vintners, this location offers other options for spending your free time. Developed infrastructure for cycling, Natural Park ‘Kopački rit’, ‘Tikveš’ castle, ‘Batinski’ memorial park, well known Baranja’s huntig grounds and rich gastronomy, too. Once you set your foot in Baranja, you will definitely want to come back to this almost unreal place. Place far from industry, untouched nature, mass tourism and city rush.
