Baan Bua Villa
Pool villa “Bua” (July 2017) is set in a peaceful tropical area on the south of the Island. This fully serviced villa is close too not 1, but 3 beautiful, natural, idyllic beaches. Leam sor beach(500 mtr), Put Tal beach (150 mtr) and Thong Krut beach (300 mtr).
Villa “Baan Bua” has 3 ensuite bedrooms. 2 of which have their own private gardens. Spacious living with comfy sofas, big screen tv, and a fully equipped modern kitchen/dining area. Ideal for honeymooners, couples, friends and families.
About The Villa
This new modern style pool villa has 190 square metres of living area. Named after our daughter, villa Baan “Bua” is a spacious yet cozy single level villa home ideally suited for couples, friends, families or empty nesters.
The villa is fully serviced/cleaned every day and full bedding and towel change takes place every third day. The bedrooms are all ensuite. Two of the bedrooms have king size beds (an extra bed/cot can be placed in either). These two bedrooms also feature their own private outdoor gardens.
The living room is open, with a 50 inch flat screen “SMART” tv featuring over 300 international channels in 5 languages. Dvd player and dvds are provided. The villa is spacious, yet comfortable, overlooking the outdoor terrace and the salt water pool.
The kitchen is modern, fully equipped and includes your own espresso machine. The villa has a fridge freezer where you will find complimentary water, some local beers (chargeable) and of course well chilled glasses. There is a split level wine fridge with a selection of reasonably priced wines. Complimentary teas, ground and instant coffee and bottled water is available.
The location is an ideal hide-away as it is a very quiet area very close to three beautiful, yet quiet beaches and the local village of Thong Krut. Thong Krut has over several international restaurants and bars, as well as a few traditional Thai restaurants and cafes. The village runs most of Samui’s regular snorkelling and sea orientated excursions. It also has a choice local minimarts/grocers.
Guest Access

Getting Around
Car hire is available though we recommend that guests rent cars from the airport car rental firms. Taxis are available but expensive. We have assisted hitchhikers in this area as do many locals but it isn’t recommended.
Pick up from airport will be 1,300 Baht as will be the return journey to the airport. Charges to and from the ferry are dependent on which port. The highest charge being 1,500 Baht (Meanam).
We will organise a rental car if requested for 1,300 Baht per day. It is best (financially) to rent your car at the airport from the international agencies there.
Individually designed tour trips can be organised for up to 12 people from 2,000 Baht half day to 4,000 Baht for the full day. Please note after the initial four persons every extra person is an extra 300 Baht.
If you prefer to organise your own transport around the island we will be happy to sit with you with a map guiding you on the best way to enjoy the island. Not everything on the island is listed and it can be part of the fun and adventure finding them.
Should you wish to book any transport or trips with third parties we will be able to arrange this for you.

We were in this amazing villa for our last day in Koh Samui. We were so impressed by the design, details, rooms and the pool. Stephen prepared a surprise for my girlfriend as I requested. All was great. You can enjoy different restaurants near there (also non thai). The space outside is wild and superb. I recommend this pool villa also for families!!!
We really enjoyed our stay at Neaw and Stephen’s villa. Everything worked well, the place was spotless clean and suited our needs perfectly. The location is peaceful and quiet, near to a small village and some beaches just a short walking distance away. We had a rental car, which really was essential for getting around the island. The hosts were friendly and communicated with us actively. We appreciated especially how they considered our two small children, providing toys and stuffed animals which they enjoyed so much.
Beautiful little hideaway. You will see parts of Koh Samui most people probably never get to see, but it’s a small island and you can get anywhere. Neaw and Stephen are very thoughtful and personal hosts. We got some lovely tips for exploring the local area too.

Stephen and Neaw’s place was exactly as expected. It was super comfortable for our family of 7 and close to some wonderful hidden spots in south Samui away from the crowds and concrete. It is hard to overstate Stephen’s hospitality and professionalism. We happened to land 1 day before the worst tropical storm over thailand (passing right over Samui) in 30 years. Power was cut over the entire island and we stayed indoors for a better part of 1.5 days. Generally, it’s was ok for us, but harder for our young girls and our older parents. Throughout this entire experience, Stephen went out of his way to check in with us and make us comfortable, including multiple calls to the utility service and recommending local places that would be open during the storm. In 5+ years of Airbnb, I have not encountered a host more considerate towards his guests. Thanks for everything Stephen!
