Chateau Bellenau : Pommiers

Our selection of self-catering holiday gîtes are converted from 18th century barns arranged around a secure courtyard with ample parking spaces and all are furnished in rustic style retaining many of the original massive timber beams and carved stone. The gîtes are all well equipped with cooking, living, sleeping and bathroom areas.

The rental prices below include bed linen, kitchen and bathroom towels, communal WIFI and gas, water and together with free  use of the Château grounds, the tennis court, rowing lake, games and outside BBQ areas. There is a shared laundry facility and always someone close at hand to help with your needs.

“Les Pommiers” ("The Apple trees")  is a spacious loft conversion apartment situated on the first floor with 2 mezzanines within a sheltered and sunny communal courtyard  adjacent to Chateau Bellenau and its historic gardens.
N.B This apartment is less suitable for those with mobility issues as the entrance is via a staircase, and both double bedrooms are accessible via further sets of stairs.

1st floor:

Large open plan kitchen /dining /living room with woodburner.
Shower room with toilet and wash basin
Bathroom with bath, toilet and washbasin
One bedroom with  bunk- beds and 1  single bed.
One bedroom with  bunk-beds
Landing with storage space.

 
Mezzanines

One attic bedroom with either 1 double and 1 single bed, or three singles.
One attic room with   either 1 double and 2 single beds, or four singles.  

 
General equipment and facilities : 

The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker, fridge, kettle, and all necessary utensils and basics to make you feel at home. All bedrooms have ample storage space. All beds have mattress protectors, duvets, pillows and spare blankets. Bed, kitchen and bathroom linen are included. Clothes washing facilities are situated just off the courtyard.High chair and travel cot available. 

A large communal hall in one of the converted barns serves  as a tea-room selling home-made cakes, hot and cold drinks and ice creams during the afternoons in high season, it is also a WIFI hotspot free for all guests to use. Guests have access to the spacious and secluded historic gardens, boats, tennis court, toys, games and books, sports equipment and mountain bikes
