Angiolina’s Farm is an antique Ligurian house which has been completely renovated with patience, love, and respect. It has kept its authentic essence of a leisurely style of life typical of a small Ligurian village where everyone knows each other and calls each other by name.
The village of Legnaro is located on a rolling hill made up of old narrow houses, covered streets, and alleyways that descend to the sea passing through scenic vegetable gardens, olive groves, and lemon orchards, where time is marked by church bells, and from sunrise to sunset offering breathtaking panoramas
The House
Before describing the house, we want to tell you about Angiolina, and her generous heart and her philosophy of life, which we have made ours.
Her house for almost a century was the center of the village, with her small tavern, and wine cellar always opened and where everyone big and small always found a smile and a good glass of homemade wine and traditional “Leventese” biscuits.
On the porch in the shade and protected from the summer heat, or north winds that wildly blow during the clear winter days, people stopped to talk or moan, or just to say hello, she was always there ready to serve a bit gruffly at times but always with smiling eyes and a light heart.
Her house is again opened with nine rooms each one different and completely renovated and furnished with today’s modern luxuries, where the original antique stone walls and the chestnut ceilings with its big beams maintain the magical atmosphere of past times.
The antique tavern with high arched stone walls is where you will find the reception area and the big hall where all guests can meet at breakfast, or sip a fine glass of wine from the local wineries of Levanto and the Cinque Terre accompanied with flavorful local products of the valley and inlands of the “Val di Vara”, and the “Val di Magra – Lunigiana”. Walking up the street from the porch you will arrive at the panoramic terrace where the Jacuzzis are and the garden, here you can relax after a long day at the beach, or after trekking the paths of the Cinque Terre or Portifino.
On the vast estate you can find barbeque areas for our guests who would like to prepare a mixed grill, a small playground for children, nature trails, and a corner where you can enjoy reading a good book that you might have found in the book crossing area of our house. For the sporty types there is a fitness trail among the olive groves to regenerate your body and open all your senses to the aromas and colors of the surrounding nature.
For our four-legged friends there is an area furnished with dog bowls, and a shaded area where they can run around freely. For those that are tired the building has an elevator so you can reach the terrace and the garden and the top floor without difficulty.
Our rooms
The rooms are situated on two floors and they are all different from one another, Suites have a kitchenette, the superior rooms have an ample terrace, and there is one comfort room furnished for disabled.
All rooms have air conditioning, heating, private bathroom with a shower and hair dryer, Wi-Fi, safe, electric water boiler, telephone, small refrigerator, and courtesy kit.
Some of the furnishings in the rooms are antique pieces which we have refurbished like the trunks and the chests where once upon a time they stored the trousseau for the girls the night tables with dark marble, and small desks which unite the stone walls and wooden ceiling creating a warm and elegant atmosphere.
In harmony with our philosophy of life which is made up of hospitality, beauty, authenticity, we have named our rooms after the beautiful gifts that nature gives us every day hoping that all can enjoy them together with us.

GROUND FLOOR Comfort with outdoor terrace
Comfortable and cozy, the two rooms “Onde (Waves)” and “Arcobaleno (Rainbow)” located on the ground floor open on the patio with one having a private terrace and the other equipped for people with disabilities. The access to the rooms through a common corridor allows, if necessary, to connect the two rooms and lodge families up to 5 people.
Suite Aurora
For 3 or 4 people with balcony
The suite “Aurora” (Dawn) has a terrace with view, a kitchenette with a large white marble washbasin, a fridge and an electric plate. The suite is composed of a spacious double room, a living room and a bathroom with shower. It’s located on the first floor and can be reached with a lift.

Suite Orizzonte

The superior suite “Orizzonte” (Horizon) has an independent entrance, a terrace with a pergola, a garden with a view and a barbecue corner with an old stone washbasin. The spacious double room, furnished with care and love for details, the living room with kitchenette in white marble, the sofa, the ancient stone niches make this suite unique, warm and elegant.

2nd FLOOR Superior with terrace
The warm atmosphere of the interiors matches perfectly the beautiful colours of dawns, sunsets and starry skies that can be contemplated on the terrace drinking a good glass of wine or a rich breakfast. Superior rooms are on the first floor and are served by an elevator but they can be reached through an independent entrance directly from the patio. Entering the ancient arch and climbing the stone stairs you can enter the rooms from the terraces. Bathrobes, beach towels, flip flops and courtesy set are available for our guests.
Suite Crepuscolo
For 3 or 4 people
The suite “Crepuscolo” (Dusk) is located on the second floor, is reachable with the lift and is composed of a double room, a living room with sofa bed and a fully equipped kitchenette. The stone walls, the wooden ceilings and the large windows with a view of the sea create a warm family atmosphere and the suite can accommodate up to 3 persons.
Deluxe Room
The room “Sole (Sun)”, located on the second floor has an ancient history. As a matter of fact, nestled in it’s stone wall, there is an ancient tabernacle in slate that was built to welcome the bishop when he visited the village of Legnaro and could not celebrate mass in the parish church that was damaged by a storm. It was in that occasion that Angiolina decided to prepare this room for the bishop and her fellow villagers so that it became a little domestic church where the village congregation could hold mass until the parish church could be repaired. In memory of this event, an ancient marble plate has been placed at the entrance of the house.
Family room “Brezza” (Breeze)
Family room for 3 / 4 persons
This is the room that the owners love the most exactly for the family atmosphere that can be breathed entering it. The big double bed is surmounted by a mezzanine of chestnut beams where, on a comfortable tatami, you can find a French style double bed. The mezzanine can be reached by an iron stair and the window next to the bed lights all spaces making the room cheerful and suitable for children and teenager accommodation.
The bathroom, with a window and a shower tiled with blue majolica, is spacious, luminous and extremely functional. From all the windows there is a view on the valley and the bay of Levanto.
