Located in Dubrovnik and nestled in the stunning Lapad Bay, Villa Filaus has always attracted the attention of curious passers-by.  Built in 1931, this villa is considered to be one of the most beautiful villas in the city. It has retained its original appearance, and the lavishness of its front façade evokes all the beauty and splendour of times past.

Villa Filaus is situated right next to the pedestrian zone of the beautiful promenade along Lapad Bay, which offers a wide variety of cafés, restaurants and pâtisseries with delightful terraces on which you can enjoy the ample shade provided by the pine trees. The sea and a pebbled beach with plenty of room are located a pleasant five-minute walk from the villa. The location also offers stunning views of the entire Bay and the Grebeni islets, which are one of the most distinctive symbols of Dubrovnik.    

ACCOMMODATION

As befits a building of a beautiful exterior, great attention has been devoted to the interior, as well. Charming rooms and apartments, just recently renovated, provide a warm and cozy atmosphere. The villa offers eight double rooms and two well-equipped apartments. Each apartment has its own kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom.

The wooden stairs inside the villa (or ˝skalini˝, as we call them in Dubrovnik) give the interior an elegant, yet warm air.

DOUBLE ROOMS

Our beautiful double rooms have been decorated with muted shades and lavish décor, while the timeless classic furniture gives them an air of sophistication and luxury.  Most of the rooms feature a balcony equipped with outdoor furniture and offer pool or garden views.  

Our double rooms are the perfect choice for those who prefer the intimacy that a villa can provide them, yet enjoy exploring a variety of locations, restaurants and other amenities provided by the city.

ONE-BEDROOM APARTMENT

Our cosy one-bedroom apartment (56 m2) accommodates up to three persons. The apartment is the perfect choice for those who want to have the luxuries of home at their disposal. Its exceptionally charming interior features sophisticated and classic wooden furniture, light-coloured upholstery and wooden floors that radiate a warm, homey air.

TWO-BEDROOM APARTMENT

Our spacious two-bedroom apartment (76 m²) can accommodate up to 5 persons and is the perfect choice for families with children. Its exceptionally charming interior features classic and sophisticated wooden furniture, light-coloured upholstery and wooden floors that radiate a warm, homey air. Guests have all the luxuries of home at their disposal.  

LOCATION

The villa is located in Lapad Bay, ensconced in its own garden, surrounded by the lush vegetation of Mediterranean plants. Here, in the shade of colourful and fragrant plant life, you will be free to let go and enjoy precious moments of pure relaxation.

A taxi and city bus stop are located just 100 metres away, connecting this part of the city with the historic town core. The city buses operate very frequently, every ten to fifteen minutes. 

The historic part of the city of Dubrovnik is located about 3.5 kilometres away and can be reached by bus or taxi in about ten minutes.
