Your hostesses have been renovating their dear old farmhouse with love and skill for 40 years.

They will welcome you in a house of character where antique furniture and flowery hangings recreate the house of your childhood. Moreover, you will be at home there...

ROOMS & SUITES

All rooms are air-conditioned and non-smoking. They can accommodate 10 people. They are equipped with bathrooms with showers (one of them with bathtub), TV and WI-FI connection. Guests can use the microwave and refrigerator in the kitchen but the house is completely non-smoking . Pets are accepted on request.

Fleurs : Also located in the north wing, The Flores room faces South, has two twin beds and a bathroom with toilets. This room is 18 square meters in size.

Exotique : Located in the north wing, the Exotic room faces south, has 1 double bed and a bathroom. This room is 12 square meters in size. 

Grande chambre : Located in the north wing, The Grand Bedroom has an independent access, 1 double bed and 2 single beds. There is a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. This room is 32 square meters large.

Billard : Located on the ground floor in the north wing, this bedroom has a king size bed, a large private living room and a bathroom with a shower (not attached but on the same floor).This room is 32 square meters large. Pets are also allowed in this room.

The farm 

It's a typical Forez fortified farm. It consists of two buildings connected by a huge courtyard under which is the SPA (jacuzzi). One can have breakfast there in summer.

Facilities

A fully equipped kitchen is available to guests on request. All sports activities (tennis, jacuzzi...) are free of charge. Tennis court is made out of soft synthetic grass (bring the necessary equipment). 

Breakfast

Breakfast is served inside or outside (fresh orange juice, cheese and eggs eventually!).

Your windows open onto a peaceful, hilly landscape with wide horizons. The region offers a rich cultural past, a wide range of sporting opportunities and a renowned gastronomy. Jacotte and Elia will show you all the secrets of this beautiful part of France.

Activities

Saint-Galmier

Saint-Galmier is a commune of 5300 inhabitants, perched on a hill overlooking the Forez plain in the Loire department (42). It is a small medieval town very lively in summer. There is a casino, swimming pool, tennis court, gardens, racecourse (night races), mountain bike... It is a flowery town known for its mineral water spring Badoit. Saint-Galmier is 20 km from Saint-Etienne, 70 km from Lyon and less than an hour's drive from the Pilat Regional Park.

Spa & wellness

Saint Galmier and it's surroundings (1 hour drive) - Mountain biking, hiking in the mounts of Lyonnais, Forez or in the Pilat massif. We are on the way to Saint-Jacques (Lyon / Le Puy) - Horse - Stadium of car driving (8 km) - Golf, 4 clubs: Forez (Craintilleux) No reservation necessary to play, Blue Green (Saint-Etienne) reservation is mandatory and The Ponds (Savigneux)reservation required, The Superfluous  (Saint Romain le Puy) No reservation necessary- Skiing, Chalmazel station (60 km) - Thermal Cures , back in shape in Montrond-les-Bains (15 km)

Das gesamte Ambiente des Hauses ist wunderschön. Es war wie eine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit tolles sehr gemütliches Wohnzimmer und Schlafzimmer rustikal und sehr gemütlich große Küche mit allem ausgestattete... gerne kommen wir wieder. Die Landschaft ist echt eine Reise wert.

Merveilleux accueil de Jacotte et Elia. Chambre propre, spacieuse et très confortable. On y a très bien dormi. Le jacuzzi était disponible et apprécié. Petit déjeuner royal. Environnement paisible, ville de Saint Galmier pittoresque.
