Welcome to the official site of the Bastide Rocquejeanne: a sumptuous Provencal country house, 300m2, built on a 6 hectare estate, for weekly rental in the Luberon.

Ideally located in Murs, near Gordes, on the Vaucluse mountains, the authentic charm and the many high-end services of this rental country house will make your stay in the Luberon: a magical and unforgettable moment of escape ... the Pays d'Apt tourist office awarded the property 5 stars.

The Rocquejeanne bastide covers 300m2: a beautiful space, allowing you to offer:

5 spacious bedrooms each of which has a private bathroom with WC. Among these five bedrooms: 3 have a 160 × 200 double bed. The other 2 each have 2 single beds 90 × 190. Either a total capacity of 10 beds. All our rooms are also equipped with a television screen, air conditioning and WIFI.

You can enjoy a beautiful equipped kitchen , with at your disposal: American fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, teapot, toaster, etc.

A small gym is also at your disposal. It is equipped with a treadmill, an exercise bike, weights and dumbbells, a scale as well as a television screen with a speaker.

A large living room , furnished with care, including a living room and a dining room will allow you to spend moments indoors, in all conviviality!

For your convenience, the entire property is air conditioned and has free WIFI access .

OUTDOOR FACILITIES

The bastide is built on a 6 hectare property , in a quiet area, without any vis-à-vis. On the horizon: unobstructed view of the village of Murs and panoramic view of the Grand Luberon. Top-of-the-range installations have been carried out so that you can fully enjoy them:

In front of the bastide there is a covered terrace, equipped with a large table, a plancha and a barbecue . Several outdoor spaces have also been fitted out with garden furniture: for peaceful moments in the open air.

You will also appreciate the sublime heated swimming pool , which extends over 10 meters long and 5.5 meters wide. It is ideally positioned next to the bastide and has a tiled terrace with 10 deckchairs, with a green view.

A pétanque court , table tennis and table football are available in the garden.

Finally, the property is embellished with 120 truffle oaks, olive trees, cherry trees, rose bushes, lavender and rosemary: no doubt: you will be immersed in the heart of Provence during your stay ...

SERVICES

To make your stay as pleasant as possible, here are the various services in place:

On request: we can provide you with: cot, high chair or changing table.
We provide you with the following hygiene products: shower gel and toilet paper. In addition, you have a hairdryer in each of our bathrooms.
Sheets and towels are provided and are changed weekly.
Beach towels for the pool are also provided.
Finally, cleaning is done every week.

The hilltop villages of the Luberon

The villages perched on the Luberon mountain range are unmissable and are among the most beautiful in France! Due to their position, most of them offer a predominant and incredible view of the Luberon.
Among them, we can only recommend:

The village of Murs , on the Vaucluse mountains, the town where our country house is located. This village is ideally located at the crossroads of several hikes and circuits for cyclists! This pretty town belongs to the Luberon regional park, recognized by Unesco as a world geopark. She also holds the record for celebrities in the Luberon region. It is located one hour from the giant of Provence: Mont Ventoux and Mont Serein: a family ski resort!

We can also recommend the village of Gordes , one of the most famous in Provence and located just 10 minutes by car from our country house. During your stay in this magnificent dry stone village, you can visit the Abbey of Notre Dame de Sénanque , bordered by lavender fields, this monument benefits from breathtaking Cistercian architecture. You can also visit the village of Bories which is a hamlet located in Gordes, at an altitude of 270m.

The village of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in the Vaucluse, is also an obligatory passage. It benefits from architecture and very beautiful historical monuments. Its many antiques and flea markets make the charm and reputation of this pretty village.

You will also be pleasantly surprised by the village of Roussillon. It is particularly known for its ocher quarries and its cliffs with exceptional colors.

To visit old ocher quarries with sparkling colors, it is in Rustrel, in the Colorado Provençal that we invite you to visit.

In the Lubéron national park is also the pretty village of Lacoste , which has a historical heritage both cultural and architectural, which is worth the detour.

Fontaine de Vaucluse is also a town not to be missed! This is where the Sorgue gushes out! The village is dominated by a huge cliff. A very natural site whose beauty varies with the weather!

Finally, we can also recommend that you stroll through the alleys of the village of Oppède or those of the village of St-Saturnin-lès-Apt or even those of Ménerbes .

This list of villages is obviously not exhaustive, the Luberon offering so much to visit… These villages are simply among our favorites, near our country house.

Before making an overview of the activities that this beautiful region offers you, we also recommend that you walk the road to the Sault plateau, where splendid fields of lavender are cultivated, as far as the eye can see .
