THE STRUCTURE

Immersed in the green of the Parks of Madonie and Nebrodi it offers hospitality to all nature’s lovers seeking for beautiful landscapes. The structure is made entirely from local limestone and has been refurbished exclusively with bio-architectural techniques in order to enhance the ancient rural building built in the late 20s. There are three sleeping rooms with own bathroom in which you can benefit from the effects of Chromotherapy.

THE TERRITORY OF REFERENCE

Nearby you can see the remains of Pettineo’s medieval castle, the Franciscans monastery and other historic buildings. Pettineo is an important medieval village where you can admire the typical architecture of the time. Of particular interest are the ancient olive trees present in the property and those scattered throughout the surrounding area. They are the subject of cultural and tourist itineraries aimed at natural enhancement of the territory. The territory is an important expression of “land art”: the “Fiumara d’Arte” by Antonio Presti, a park of contemporary works of art in the open air of great cultural interest. A few kilometres away is the Valley of Halaesa , where you can admire the archeological ruins of the ancient civilization that once populated the area.

The rural building was inherited by Ing. Francesco Russo who renovated it between 2015 and 2016 in order to enhance the area and offer hospitality to anyone wanting to visit and admire the natural beauty of this land and its very interesting flora and fauna. You’ll be welcome by very friendly and helpful people who will provide you with all the information you need to enjoy a pleasant holiday in the sign of the typical local traditions.
