Casa Joop is located on a hill in Tamagno, which is part of the picturesque Magnano village in the north of Piedmont. A beautiful location, where you can not only enjoy the unadulterated beauty of the nature and culture of Italy, but where the nearby Biellanese Alps also provide you with a beautiful view every day .
Casa Joop is an authentic Italian country house with three luxury bed and breakfast rooms, a cozy communal breakfast room and a beautiful, large terrace where you can fully enjoy the Italian sun and the tranquility of nature. Thethree bed and breakfast rooms are each equipped with a private bathroom (shower and toilet). In addition, every morning the hostess ensures that the tables in the breakfast room are covered with an extensive breakfast: daily fresh bread, fruit salads, toppings and real Italian coffee, what does the inner man want more? The breakfast room also features a modern kitchen, where you can also prepare your own meal. This is the ideal accommodation for your holiday away from home, where hospitality, the beauty and rustic of nature, the pure Italian culture go hand in hand.
Rooms
The rustic room is on the south of the house and has a beautiful view on the pastures and forests. In this room there is antique Italian furniture, being a big double bed, a closet and a splendid washbasin . Besides there is a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink.
The Rose room has its own authentic atmosphere with beautiful old and new furniture, which blend together wonderfully. The joining bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin.
The lavender room is the largest room. It has beautiful furniture, which is originally French. The double bed and the bedside tables all are made in the same style and fit in perfectly. Next to the room is a modern bathroom with a shower, toilet and washbasin.
The breakfast area has got a modern kitchen where in the morning breakfast is served. The guests can use this kitchen which is fully equipped with a stove, oven, fridge and deep freeze, all sorts of kitchen utensils , cups and plates and a dishwasher.
The surroundings of Magnano.
Magnano is in the north of Piemonte. It lies 600 metres above sea level and is situated next to the Biellanese Alps. The old centre of Magnano, ïl Ricetto, exists since the 12th century. ïl Ricetto is where the craftsmen lived who worked around Magnano. Their houses were used for storing grain and wine. Some of these houses are still in their original state. Others are renovated and modernized. There are old churches which are partly restored. The churches are used for the summer festival ‘Musica Antica’. The surface of Magnano is about ten square kilometres. It’s devided in many small villages, called cascina’s. Tamagno is one of those. Magnano used to be a large community of 2500 to 3000 inhabitants. Nowadays many houses are vacant or are being used as holiday homes. Officially the number of inhabitants is 387.
The prices of the rooms are based on 2 persons, but you can rent a room when you are on your own. We only accept cash! We do not (yet) have a bancomat and/or facilities to pay by credit card.
Reservations of 7 days continuously or more, 25 euro discount per week per room.For conformation of your booking, a 50% deposit of the whole travel-sum is required.
