Villa HORTENSIA is a B & B chambres d'hôtes, Bed and Breakfast in the Monferrato located in the upper part of Casorzo (ASTI): Casorzo Alto. 

Its position dominates the village of Monferrato, and enjoys an enchanting view of the hills of Monferrato, of the Alps, up to the Ligurian mountains and Monte Rosa. The building dates back to the seventeenth century, it is said of the passage of Queen Ortensia Bonaparte daughter of Napoleon, who would stop right here. The building with all its terraces, and carefully restored, is closer to the Florentine style. Its privileged position makes it perfect for exploring the beauties of Monferrato, including the Castello del Monferrato, a regional wine shop in the Monferrato area.

The hilly landscape of Monferrato, land of vineyards and castles, arouses strong emotions to those who discover it for the first time. Casorzo is placed on a hill, altitude m. 275 In the hilly landscape dominate the vineyards and in the background a view of the Alps from Liguria to Monte Rosa. 

Villa HORTENSIA is located in the center of the Milan-Turin-Genoa triangle, all within 1 hour of the road. The Italian Lakes: Maggiore, Orta, Como, are less than 1 hour away. La Thuile, Cervinia 1 hour 30min by road, moreover 20 minutes from Casale Monferrato, Asti, Alessandria, Bra, Alba.

Villa Hortensia, is the ideal choice for moments of relaxation. 

Large garden and swimming pool in an informal and familiar environment, where, for lovers of wines and gourmets, it is possible to taste typical products of the Monferrato area. 

For our customers we organize food and wine tours with tastings of grappa, wines, cured meats, Italian preserves and cheeses from the producers of this area of ​​Monferrato. The cellars offer wines of excellence recognized in the DOP and DOCG. 

Villa HORTENSIA, offers for its guests 6 rooms with modern bathroom. 

All rooms are finely furnished with period furniture. Each room is different from the other has its own style and color, to ensure a comfortable stay in a castle atmosphere.

Some rooms have a panoramic view of the Monferrato hills, others on the "patio" with its cloister-style arches. Each room of our B & B chambres d'hôtes recalls the name of an important wine of the Monferrato: Barbera, Nebiolo, Grignolino, Ruché, Malvasia, Freisa, Chardonnay, Cortese. 

NEBIOLO - CHARDONNAY
Situated in the ground floor, very attractive room which coupled with "Chardonnay" becomes very big to accommodate it the children.

It is traverssante east-west. It gives on to the patio through two charming windows. On the other side, on the village through a large window, the view on the church "revival" of the village is beautiful.

It is endowed with an attractive cupboard  XVIII to receive your affairs and clothes there.

There is two bathroom one in each room, enlightened by a large windows giving onto the village, is well equiped with a bathtub / shower. Toilets; Italian bidet

FREISA
Freisa as all the rooms(chambers), has two tints of paints) very near the most darkened is always behind the bed. The paintings of walls are carefully chosen, they are light without being pastel. All the rooms of the villa Hortensia have different elegant tints

Freisa makes more 30 m2 this give the pleasant ease to live there and speak to each others there.

The bathroom is big with an Italian-style huge shower. The washbasin is settled in the former old  passage, the former doors were kept and  preserved and equipped with multiple mirrors. Very nice. 

The window of Freisa situated on the first floor gives onto the village and the beautiful church "revival" of the place. Quite brick-built red, impressive at the top of the coline, she(it) is magnificent. It faces you. You will notice its bell tower, it)is not in on the church h it  is adjacent.

CORTESE
An ideal sophisticated atmosphere for dream night. Modern furniture where an antique cupboard "epoca empire" in its juice gives its taste to the room.

Bathroom with a big bathtub gives a shower.

GRIGNOLINO
An atmosphere refined for a room-suite.  The blue inspired by gardens Majorelle of Marackech dominates. it gives a rafinée atmosphere without being hoisted. One English writing case and  an English armchair for the style. Lusters in rattan give a note "countryside". A fenêtrte gives onto the garden, an other gives onto the village. Very calm indeed.

BARBERA
A nice romantic bed  room with its own terrace brightened up. Windows of colors which light the room of a very particular atmosphere.

ARNEIS BIANCO DEI LANGHE
Absolutely romantic and sexy Chamber(room) to stay there all day long

Arneis is a small house on the roof! Very particular Chamber with openings everywhere, One in particular gives directly onto the main terrasse  .

The bathroom is also large and is separated from the room only by a wall folding screen.

It is the room(chamber) which I prefer.

The dining room bears the name of a great minister of Louis XIII: Mazarin, who at Casale made the acquaintance of another great minister: Richelieu. In each room there is a kettle with coffee and tea and a hairdryer, Wi-Fi. All rooms are "non-smoking". The adjacent terraces can be used by smokers.

The breakfasts are plentiful and varied, with seasonal fruit and jams. On the roof terrace, guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen to prepare lunch or dinner. 

There are many opportunities to come to Villa Hortensia, in all seasons.
