The neighborhood
The house is located in a vibrant neighbourhood where you can experience an authentic day-to-day island life. It is walking distance to a cafe, fruit and vegetable vendors and excellent meat and fish shops. Nearby are local swimming holes.
Getting around
You can stroll along the oceanfront boardwalk to Ponta Delgada or take the frequent public transportation located steps from the house. A short 5 minute drive will take you to downtown Ponta Delgada. Centrally located, it is a short drive to all the big tourist attractions like Sete Cidades and Furnas.

Maria was so helpful and understanding host during our stay. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the house. Location was great and we really enjoyed the views from the terrace. The grill was also nice surprice!

This house at the beach is perfectly located just outside Ponta Delgada, close to the airport and is a good central starting point for all trips on the island. It is a spacious house, well equiped, clean and perfect for larger groups. Hostess Milu is also very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We recommend this house as a perfect base location for your stay on Sao Miguel.
Milu was great hostess. She was very responsive throughout our stay. The location was perfect in that we were close to beaches,local restaurants and grocery stores. It was centralized with easy to access to all parts of island . Parking on the street was not an issue. The view of the ocean and the sunrise were spectacular. The Villa accommodated our family of 8 very comfortably.
Milu’s home was absolutely perfect for our group of six! We visited for my mother’s 60th birthday celebration and could not have asked for a better home or host. The rental is located in a great area, the view from the balcony is incredible, and the decor is beautiful. Milu was very responsive when helping us locate the home and when the hot water heater ran out of gas. She even bought a cake for my mother! If you are thinking about staying here, do not hesitate!

Beautiful property with a great view of the ocean. A wonderful vacation home. Travellers who want closer access to restaurants and nightlife should consider other options, but for those that will use the kitchen and want a great value Milu's home is top notch.
