The neighbourhood
The iconic 28 tram stops right outside your doorstep! You are close to the major attractions in the historical city centre and can enjoy stunning views of the river and surroundings. There are many typical restaurants nearby, as well as a grocery store.
Getting around
The 28 tram is your best bet for moving around in this area, or else, use a taxi or walk, the best way to explore the hidden alleys this picturesque area has to offer... who knows what you might find?

Absolutely the best place to stay in Lisboa! The space was stunning, close to everything and the host is just amazing!
Great place. Great location close to St luzia square the best view over the city! Very cosy, perfect for a couple. Quiet despite the location, perfectly clean with all amenities necessary. We even had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us ! Bruno was very helpful and gave us a very warm welcome with lots of great tips about the city.
We spent three very pleasant days in the modern apartment in a central location. Telma was very nice and gave us a lot of useful information about the neighborhood and Lisbon. The house is extremely cozy, pretty and very bright. Obrigado!!
The apartment is in excellent location, in the heart of Alfama. Very clean, has all the amenities. The owner was very friendly, replied quickly and was happy to help.
Very nice appartment in a great and quiet area of Lisbon. Airport transfer and check-in went very smooth and uncomplicated. All in all a very nice place and very much recomendable.
Telma's place is exceptionally well located. It is both quiet and in the center of everything. Beautifully designed and maintained the new unit is efficient and very comfortable and allows easy access to so much that is wonderful about being in Lisboa.

We had such an amazing stay at the soul house! From the smooth check in even when it was late at night (Thank you Bruno!) to the local tips and tricks we got. The place is very clean, temperature is good and its in the pittoresque old town part called castelo. Lots of restaurants and the tram stop at your doorstep. We enjoyed it to the fullest, thanks again!
Exactly as advertised, in the heart of Alfama. Clean, good AC, plenty of extra towels/blankets. Less than 10 min walk to subway, tram, bus. Highly recommend for staying in Lisbon!
We would highly recommend this apartment! Everything was clean and organised, all the basics were provided. We were provided with lots of useful local information at check-in and contact with the hosts was quick and friendly. The apartment is really well located, only a 10-15 minute walk to the main train station downtown (but be warned, the walk home is mainly uphill!!), with lots of other attractions and viewpoints just a short stroll away. You can also watch the trams going past from the window. There are also several good restaurants and bars next to the apartment and a good mini supermarket across the road, which stays open late. We couldn’t have chosen a better location! We really enjoyed our stay and won’t hesitate to return if we are back in Lisbon!
Telma’s place is brilliant! We had a fantastic stay, it’s in a great location and is perfect for exploring the city. It was clean and had the amenities you would expect from self catering, the air con was well needed in the August heat!
Clean, beautiful space with a friendly welcome. Maps and local tips were very helpful. The Alfama location was a walkable distance to all the sights. The street can be a bit loud at night, but we didn’t mind too much.
The place was great. Exactly as shown in the pictures and very central to the castle as well as Alfama. Elsa was waiting for us at the check-in and gave us great local tips on where to go and what to see. We had a great time and would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Thelma and Bruno were great hosts - the location is fantastic and they were very accommodating and helpful when we had travel delays

Telma’s place is conveniently located to restaurants and tourists sites, and most everything to make your stay adventurous. She designed her place to be very warm and welcoming. We experienced a wonderful stay at her place.
