The “La Civetta” (The Owl) bed and breakfast is a typical Piedmont rural structure. Completely surrounded by greenery, with three rooms and breakfast service. It lays in the “Alto Monferrato” area, just 5 Km from the road of Sassello-between Savona and Alexandria, 15 km from Acqui Terme, in a naturalistic environment rich in food and wine.

“La Civetta” is opened from March to December and other dates to be agreed with the innkeeper, who will be glad to receive you and your four-legged friends.

The Offer

A holiday, relax, walkin’in the greenery, horse riding, mountain bike, seeking mushrooms, spend the day between the Erro river inlets, visit the hills of Alto Monferrato.

In few words: enjoy nature and the tasting of typical, locally-grown products.

Surrounded with greenery we lodge you in a former stonework tree-floor farmhouse. At the first floor there is a kitchen for the breakfast and a living room. Upstairs, at the second floor, the three rooms, all with separate entrances, three bathrooms and two large sun decks with a wonderful panoramic view.

In the farmhouse there is also a large parking space available.

Dogs are absolutely welcome. The estate isn’t anyway fenced as there is no danger to your four-legged friends. You’re only asked to look up to possible non-dog-lover guests.

Tasso (Badger)

Double room with bathroom inside, equipped with shower. Direct access to panoramic terrace.

Capriolo (Roe Deer)

The biggest of our rooms, is a double room with the possibility to add up to two single beds. By the french door there’s direct access to a large terrace with a beautiful landscape.

Riccio (Hedgehog)

Double room with the possibility to add a single bed. Great panorama at the window.

Three rooms available, named with as three territorial typical animals: the badger, the roe deer, the hedgehog. Every room has an original stone-wall and wood-ceiling

The terraces, at guest’s disposal, are equipped with small tables, chairs, benches, and sun umbrellas.

Every room has a dedicated bathroom.

The “La Civetta” Bed & Breakfast is open from april to december and, on demand, even in other days, innkeeper engagement permitting.
