Description
Valtellina is a valley located in the north of Lombardy. It stretches 150 km from west to east to the borders of the famous Trentino Alto Adige region. Its surface is predominantly mountainous: framed to the north by the Rhaetian Alps and the border with Switzerland, to the south by the Orobian Pre-Alps that extend as far as the Po Valley.

Within a half-hour drive you can find all kinds of entertainment to satisfy even the most extreme demands. In fact, many European tourists come here attracted by this extraordinary summer and winter tourist offer.

The offer includes: Walking in nature parks, Climbing, Mountain walking, Tibetan bridge, Biking, Canyoning, Rafting, Zipline - Fly Emotion, Gliding.

Those who are passionate about glider flying come to the airport of Caiolo to fly with gliders. Others come to climb rock faces in Val Masino, (8 km from here) where there is a climbing wall and the most important erratic rock in Europe (Sasso Remenno). Right here, in Val Masino, there is a popular nature oasis where you can walk on low and high-altitude trails.

In the high mountains (from 1200 to 3000 m) there are many paths crowded with tourists and about twenty refuges spread evenly over the high-altitude paths where you can eat, rest and sleep.

Many other tourists come here for the extraordinary culinary offer: Bresaola della Valtellina, typical sausages, Pizzoccheri, Polenta Taragna, all kinds of cheese, etc.. A little-known curiosity is that it is here that perhaps the most expensive cheese in the world is produced, the production of which is considered on a par with a Future investment (it is said that the production of the year 2050 is already sold out. Many VIPs and gourmet restaurants have the cheese, which is matured here for a long time, individually decorated.

A little further afield, other unmissable offers are available. One of these is the Bernina train trip from Tirano to Sankt Moritz in Switzerland - a 2-hour round trip through the Rhaetian Alps with breath-taking alpine scenery (considered one of the world's top 10 attractions). Who we are:

My name is Roberto, and together with my wife Annachiara and our children, Tania and Cristian, we offer you an apartment for your holidays in Valtellina. 

Where we are:

The town of Berbenno is a town of 4000 inhabitants in the province of Sondrio, Lombardy at 450 m asl. Located in the middle of Valtellina, it is ideal for those who love nature, adventure, sport and cuisine, both in winter and in summer.
 
What we offer:

We offer an apartment on the first floor of a three-story building. On the second floor I live with my wife and on the third live my son Cristian and his family. The apartment is 70 square meters completely renovated in 2012. It is equipped with independent heating with natural gas boiler, air conditioning in the living-dining area, and wifi internet. 5 beds are available, one of which is on the sofa in the living room that can be converted into a bed. A camping cot for children up to three years is available on request.

It has 1 double bedroom, one twin bedroom, living-dining area, and a bathroom with washing machine. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: an electric oven, gas hob, dishes, and dishwasher. Guests can use (not exclusive) a large-flowered terrace complete with chairs, a table, and an umbrella.
 
Sheets, towels, cleaning:

Upon arrival, you will find towels, tablecloths, and beds already made. The supply of clean towels every 4 days of stay is included in the price. Linen change and cleaning during the stay are provided on request and for stays longer than a week; the amount of these services is: € 7 per person for the sheets, € 5 for the towels, and € 30 for cleaning. The amounts will be paid in advance to the structure.

Let's ask:

Compliance with the check-out time to ensure compliance with the health rules established as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic. In this regard, all the recommendations set by the national health authorities are adopted for cleaning and sanitation, the list of which is available for guests at the notice board of the structure.

Do not smoke in the house, but use the outdoor area specially reserved for guests. 

Small and large pets are not allowed. Our painful choice, as animal lovers, is due to allergy problems that could be affected by the guests who will follow.
Do not organize parties or events and maintain an acceptable noise level.

COVID 19 PREVENTION - Health and precautionary measures put in place to avoid or limit the infection.
The apartment is left empty for at least one day between one stay and another to facilitate the sanitation and cleaning interventions required by health regulations and recommended for the prevention of contagion.

Cleaning and disinfection

1. Use of appropriate cleaning products, recommended by health authorities and effective against Covid;
2. Sheets, towels and linen are washed at a temperature above 65° C;
3. All accessible surfaces: plates, handles, bathroom fixtures, showers, kitchen tiles, bathrooms, etc. they are washed and disinfected with 70% alcoholic solutions;
4. The hood and air conditioner filters are disassembled and sanitized at each change;
5. Guests have the option to cancel any cleaning service for their accommodation during their stay
6. Guests are provided with a hand sanitizer kit and possibly protective gloves if required;
7. After each cleaning, the apartment is sealed.

Payment Policy
BASIC RATE: € 60 / night for 1 person + € 8 / night for each person over the first, NB the rate is indicative. At the discretion of the manager during weekends and in particular periods of the year, the base rate may be subject to increases. Similarly, the manager can apply special discounts for stays of a week or more. WHAT THE PRICE INCLUDES: Sheets, towels, cleaning and sanitizing according to the rules established by the National Health Authorities for the prevention against Covid 19 are included in the booking price. These standards are available on the notice board of the apartment., Upon arrival you will find towels, tablecloths and beds already made. The supply of clean towels every 3/4 days of stay is included in the booking price and will be delivered on the 4th / 5th day of stay.
