Description
Cascina Genzianella is a charming Residence in Oulx with breakfast service, surrounded by a large floral garden. It was once a real “Cascina”, and it is here that the first generation of the Eydallin family grew up, in times when in the mountains there was still a lot of direct relationship with the care of the land and animals. In the early 2000s, after a period of inactivity, we decided to renovate the farmhouse and transform it into a residence where it is still possible to perceive this link with the mountain and love for the land , by diving in the garden curated by Mariella or admiring the wooden creations of Renato who in his carpentry shop continues to create and maintain all that is wood in the Cascina. 

The Upper Susa Valley is an ideal destination for mountain sports and it is in these activities that the new generation of our family has grown with passion, each reaching its highest level in terms of sport and profession. Today Genzianella wants to be also and above all a destination for those of us who are passionate about the mountains and all the activities and sports that are practiced there. But it is not only for “commitment” and “adrenaline” that you can come to visit us, at Cascina Genzianella you can also simply relax, in our beautiful garden and with some quiet and pleasant stroll around our village.

The flats

Cascina Genzianella is made up of ten apartments, including five one-room apartments and five two-room apartments.
All apartments are furnished in handcrafted wood and are equipped with a small kitchen, with hob, oven, fridge.
The ground floor apartments have direct access to the garden, those on the first floor have a balcony overlooking the garden; all are equipped with televisions.


We supply our apartments with towels, sheets, cleaning kit for the kitchen and courtesy kit for the bathroom.

Studios

The studios are large and spacious, equipped with a double sofa bed and an additional armchair bed in case of need.

Two rooms

The two-room apartments include a living room with a double sofa bed and a bedroom with a double bed or two single beds.

Ours is an ideal destination for mountain sports.

Today our residence wants to be a destination for those of us who are passionate about the mountains and the sports that are practiced there. We will always be at your disposal both as a support, and in the rental of equipment to make you know and fully enjoy the world of Outdoor.

From Cascina Genzianella you can also simply enjoy the relaxation and the clean air that this area of Italy can offer you , with trips around the villages .

Payment Policy
€150 deposit, full payment on departure. Breakfast extra €9,00 per person, Tourist tax €1,00 per person per night.
Cancellation Policy
The following charges will be levied if cancellation occurs before commencement of the holiday: 1. Up to 8 weeks – Deposit retained, 2. 6-8 weeks – 50% of total holiday cost, 3. 2-6 weeks – 90% of total holiday cost, 4. Within 2 weeks – 100% of total holiday cost, In the extremely unlikely event that the Cascina Genzianella is forced to cancel your holiday you will receive a full refund. If you have to cancel due to Covid-19 there will be no cancellation charges.

La cascina é calda, pulita, facilissima da raggiungere, a piedi si può andare in centro e ha un parcheggio privato per gli ospiti, in 10 minuti in auto si é a Sauze e in 20 in Francia, semplice ma accogliente con spazi comodi anche per chi ha sci e attrezzature al seguito. La consiglio per un soggiorno in zona sia per sciare che in altre stagioni.

Lo stile è rustico, nella sua semplicità ed essenzialità ha assolutamente soddisfatto ogni nostra esigenza di relax e punto di appoggio per visitare le zone montane limitrofe. Camera calda ed accogliente. I servizi erano nuovi e puliti, era presente anche un vero phone (non quello a parete). Le camere erano fornite di tutti i confort, anche delle coperte in più, in caso di freddo eccessivo. Anche la cucina, all'interno della camera era ben attrezzata con le stoviglie necessarie. La struttura è sulla strada per raggiungere Sauze d'Oulx e si trova a soli 10 minuti dai più importanti impianti sciistici.

Posizione centrale con parcheggio privato, abbiamo trovato la struttura molto pulita e aveva tutti gli accessori necessari per passare un bellissimo fine settimana in famiglia. Staff molto accogliente e disponibilità alle nostre richieste, ringrazio molto anche il signore anziano(non ricordo il nome) che ci ha accolti, del bel pensiero che ha preparato per nostro figlio di 3 anni.sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Lovely place to stay. The studios are roomy, well-equipped and very clean. David (the manager) is incredibly helpful and will tell you anything you need to know about Oulx and the locality. We had a first-floor studio and I loved all the wooden furniture and ceiling - it made the room very attractive. Plus it was really warm although freezing outside. There is also a huge garden although it was too cold to use it in January (but would be great in the summer).
