Located in the heart of Tuscany, 40 km southeast from Siena (near Sinalunga), in an area known as the “creti senesi”, Podere Romitorio is a secluded old farmhouse built in the 19th Century.

The farm, which features all modern comforts, has been reconstructed in the original rural Tuscan style (of the area).
The luxurious interior mixes modern elements with old Tuscan furniture and the secluded garden is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Both the house and the pool offer stunning views over the Tuscan countryside.
At Podere Romitorio you have the opportunity to spend dream holidays away from it all. You will enjoy complete privacy here with no other guests to share the house or pool with.

Living Room

The living area comes equipped with a flat screen television (satellite), dvd-player and stereo with iPod docking station.

Gourmet Kitchen

The kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances: a Miele dishwasher, a large SMEG fridge with large freezer compartment, a SMEG 4-ring gas stove with electric oven, a microwave and a coffee-machine. It also has a kitchen table with seating for 6 people.

Dining Room

Romitorio’s dining room seats 12 guests. Upon advance booking, a local chef will cook an excellent meal of Italian delights in Romitorio. For gourmet dining outside of the home, we would be happy to provide you with addresses of excellent nearby restaurants, specialised in Italian and Tuscan food.

Cellar

Help yourself to the fully stocked cellar filled with local wines from Avignonesi winery. Live like a true Tuscan and have a bottle of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano or world-renowned “50%50” wine with dinner. You will only be charged for what you consume at the end of your stay.

Payment Policy
While we maintain our existing high standards of cleanliness through this time for all our villas or apartments, we have increased our disinfecting procedures with government approved cleaning products. We’re encouraging our guests and employees to exercise recommended social distancing practices. We’re actively monitoring the situation and following the guidance, information, protocols, and tools from government authorities and The World Health Organization to maximize the effectiveness of our response. After each stay and before every arrival of new guests, villas and apartments are completely disinfected with ozone as well (an extra precaution to remove eventual virus and bacteria). All our employees have a HACCP diploma (so already trained for respecting correct hygienic situations), and in these days every one of them is trained with an extra anti covid-19 course. On request, your breakfasts, eventual lunches or dinners can be delivered directly in your villa or apartment as well, all in maximum respect of hygiene and safety. If you want to cook yourself, you will find a complete disinfected and sanitized kitchen at your disposal on arrival. If you don’t want to leave your villa at all, we can pre-stock the villa with the shopping list you send us in advance and even do your shopping during your stay.
Cancellation Policy
“Standard Rate” cancellation policy In case there still should be covid-19 travel restrictions or problems at the moment of your trip, we will submit a voucher for the amount already payed, to be used within 24 months from that date. In all other cases, cancellations till 30 days before arrival, have a penalty of 30% from the total rent. From 30 days to day of arrival, reservations become not refundable for the complete amount. We will always submit a voucher valid for 24 months, for down payment as for full amount, with a valid reason for not travelling., “Standard rate” payment policy 30% of the booking amount will be charged at the time of booking. The balance of 70% will be required 30 days before the check-in date. We strongly recommend to use our ‘besafe rate’ included a travel insurance on all reservations you make.
