Our lovingly renovated casa is located in Tahiche, in a typical Lanzarote village.

With carefully selected furnishings echoing traditional local crafts, the layout and design creates a comfortable, light-filled atmosphere; ideal for setting the scene for a relaxing holiday with friends and family.

Casa Tahiche  can accommodate up to 6 people – 3 bedrooms with double beds and 3 bathrooms with shower and toilet, 2 of which are adjoining.

A fully-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare and enjoy home-cooked meals.

In the garden, you will find a classic Lanzarote barbecue, inviting you to experience cosy evenings out on the terrace. Relish beautiful sunsets from the hot-tub as you relax and unwind. Sun loungers and an outdoor shower are also available.

Directly connected to the house is also a larger storage room with a washing machine and tumble dryer, where you can also store bikes, watersports or golf equipment.

Location

Embedded in the lava landscape and next to our “house volcano” VOLCANO DE TAHICHE lies the village of Tahiche. Our Casa is located in a popular residential area of the Lanzaroteños. Located in the centre of the island, making it an ideal starting place to explore Lanzarote. Whether you wish to explore the Timanfaya National Park, the “Valley of 1000 Palms” in Haría, the Papagayo Beaches in Playa Blanca, or Famara to ride over the waves –you are never far from ideal hot spots. The airport is only 11 km away, so you’re only a few minutes drive after your flight.

An Argentine steak house integrated in a water reservoir with its own brewery(Closed due to Covid), the island’s bakery (you won’t find a better one here), supermarkets and the Fundacion Cesar Manrique are within walking distance.

Not far from Tahiche, in the neighbouring village of Nazaret, is the former house of the actor Omar Sharif, the so-called “Lagomar”, which can be visited as a museum during the day and invites you to the bar dug in lava stone in the evening.

Golf enthusiasts will also get their money’s worth here – the Golf Club of Costa Teguise is 3 km away from our Casa.

The nearest beach in Costa Tequise is 10 minutes away by car – but a little tip: Lanzarote has many, many, very beautiful and quiet beaches that you must see. Therefore, we recommend you rent a car to get to know this wonderful island!

Cyclists and hikers will love it here – a lot of interesting tours are just waiting to be explored by you.

For the sailors among you, the Canary Islands offers you the optimal sailing conditions 52 weeks a year – why not combine this with a rural holiday on Lanzarote?

Or dive into Lanzarote’s underwater world, which should not be underestimated. This way you can also explore the underwater museum “Museo Atlántico”.

The island is also called “the Hawaii of Europe” – this is because in Lanzarote are the best weather conditions for surfing. Whether beginner or professional, everyone will find his perfect wave.
