Immersed in the Alexandrian plain, in the municipality of Bosco Marengo (Alessandria), is the Mansio farmhouse residence, a comfortable cottage consisting of three large independent apartments, the result of the renovation of an old seventeenth century mill, where once the 'jack worked', he who forged copper and bronze; in the last century it was mainly used as a refuge for hunters.

APARTMENTS

In an atmosphere of intimacy and isolation, it will be possible to stay overnight and spend happy moments in one of three rural apartments available.

The style in the traditional Piedmontese furnishings, in addition to the space and annexed structures available, make the Mansio residence an ideal place to spend happy moments of relaxation with the family, or with your partner, in contact with nature and appreciating deep horizons and colorful.

The three apartments intended to welcome you, spacious and comfortable , together with the related facilities and services, are available for short or medium-long term stays, suitable for couples and families with children, being surrounded by the natural and cultivated countryside . in an oasis of tranquility.

Each accommodation is arranged on a different floor and has an independent entrance with parking available, free wi-fi internet connection and air conditioning , with independent heating or cooling. 

The houses have been furnished combining the ancient style with the modern, all characterized by an airy convivial area used as a living roomwith a comfortable and large sofa bed, a large kitchen complete with every accessory, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower.

Each apartment has been assigned a name and a color, "Roggia", "Martinetto" and "Spiga", each  linked to the history of the site, the territory in which it is located and the agricultural crops practiced, to enhance the natural context in which the residence is located.

ROGGIA

Large two-room apartment adjacent to the water jump of the ancient mill, Piedmont-style furnishings with modern accessories, ideal for couples and families with small children, also equipped with  access and related facilities for the disabled

MARTINETTO

Rustic apartment with traditional style furnishings, a welcoming place to have lasting memories, relaxing and reassuring atmosphere, ideal for couples and families with small children

SPIGA

The warmth as in a family home and the refinement in the details, thanks also to a pellet stove, for the most spacious apartment, coexistence of styles between rustic and modern, ideal for families with teenage children

FACILITIES AND SERVICES 

To  provide the large solarium with stone table and awning, where you can enjoy' en plein air 'local culinary excellence; It will also be possible on request to organize tasting tours with typical local products and local wines with an AIS professional sommelier always available. 

It will be possible to take advantage of the equipment in the garage-playroom, that is, a pool table, a ping-pong table, some bicycles for men, women and children from 5 to 12 years.

It will also be possible to rent muscle or pedal assisted bicycles thanks to Bikesquarefor every need, in order to take advantage of the numerous routes present and mapped on the territory. The numerous dirt roads, and connections through embankments and natural paths constitute an ideal network for cross- country races,  cycling tourism  and various sports activities, with itineraries of varying lengths, from 3 km, 8 km, 12 km and 23 km.

Upon request, tourist information material will be provided on the province of Alessandria and its surroundings, for wellness centers, castles and historic residences, taste itineraries, folklore events, wine routes, excursions into nature.

The garden area behind the garage, equipped with barbecue, will be freely usable , sun loungers, deck chairs and relaxation points. It will also be possible to enjoy unforgettable landscapes and sunsets, unique natural habitats thanks to the proximity to the Orba stream, as well as being able to visit the Tenuta San Michele, a historic residence of the twelfth century, which is located a short distance away and where the owners stay. the Mignone family, made up of Giovanni, Antonietta, Francesco and Federico, always available to suggest itineraries or visits to places of interest in the area.

On request it will be possible to find on arrival in the apartment the necessary for breakfast with packaged products, there is neither half nor full board, but we give full freedom to manage your stay with the kitchen and use all the facilities available. , if the guest so wishes, taking advantage of the open spaces for lunches, dinners or aperitifs.
