At Springfield Bed and Breakfast a warm welcome will await you into the home of Kevin and his wife. Transfers to Belfast International Airport or to Belfast City airport can be organised. Or even to ferry ports or train and bus stations. Just mention at the time of booking and Kevin will do his very best to assist you. Springfield Bed and Breakfast is situated a mere 15-minute walk from Belfast City Centre and only 5 miles to Belfast George Best airport. On the doorstep of public transport links makes travelling to the major sights of Belfast very simple and stress free.

Facilities available at Springfield

At Springfield as well as our bed and breakfast accommodation, we offer free Wi-Fi/internet access, large flat screen televisions, safety deposit boxes, tea/coffee facilities and luggage storage facility and good public transport links nearby. With a tiled bathroom and a satellite TV,The five rooms at Springfield B&B are simply furnished. Each has facilities for making tea and coffee, and comes with a hair-dryer for guests to use.

Breakfast options at Springfield

Breakfast is included every morning and is served Monday to Friday- 08.00am to 09.30am. Saturday and Sunday breakfast is served between 08.30am and 10.00am. Last cooked breakfast must be ordered 15 minutes before finishing time. A full English breakfast is provided each morning,or a continental choice also is available, consisting of porridge, toast and other cereals also available. Fruit juice, tea and coffee and hot chocolate are also served. Please be advised that menu items are subject to availability.

Payment Policy
By placing a booking with us (the property owner / his/her representative) you (the lead guest) and your booking party (guests) agree to the following terms and conditions as set-out. During your stay, you agree to abide by the subsequent conditions as set-out. If you have any questions about booking with us, please contact us before making a booking., To place a booking with us the lead guest must be at least 16 years of age. The maximum number of staying guests per room is illustrated in the room occupancy details on the website. Where the person making the booking is different to the lead guest taking up the occupation, the person making the booking may be held responsible for cancellation, non-arrival and damages as set-out within. Only the lead guest and the named booking party are allowed to use the property and its facilities, any third party visitors are only allowed access at our express permission., To secure any booking we require a deposit to be paid in advance, this deposit amount is 70% or first night whichever is bigger., Deposit payments must be ‘cleared funds’ before a booking can be confirmed. Deposits are only refundable under the conditions set-out here within., Payments can be made online / over the phone using debit/credit card as well as by digital bank transfer, cheque or cash deposit. Any charges raised against us by our banks for handling dishonoured cheque’s, bank transfers or any other payments, must be reimbursed by the lead guest within seven (7) days of any request to do so., All guests agree to respect the privacy and peace of all other staying guests, neighbours and the owners at all times. We reserve the right to cancel a booking with immediate effect if guests are not honouring this agreement or causing a disturbance/nuisance to other guests, neighbours or the owners., Check-in & Check-out Guests must check-in and check-out by the times stated below; Check-in by: 14:00pm and before 19:00pm on day of arrival Check-out by: 11:00am on day of departure
Cancellation Policy
We respectfully remind guests that when they accept and confirm a reservation, accepting accommodation by telephone, e-mail or in writing constitutes a legally binding contract between themselves and Springfield B&B. At the time of booking, we always ask for your credit card details to secure the booking – much like any other B&B, Hotel, Airline or Tour Company. At the time of booking the first nights’ cost of accommodation is taken as a deposit for the reservation and is non-refundable. We have a 14 Day cancellation policy, which means that if you cancel the booking within this time for whatever reason – including family illness/bad weather/petrol strikes/car broken down etc. We have the right to make a full charge for all our losses, in your absence, to your card. In the event of last minute cancellations, alterations or reduction in the number of nights just before or after your arrival we reserve the right to ask you for a further payment to compensate us for our loss. Any postponement of confirmed bookings will be treated as cancellation. As Springfield B&B is not in a position to enquire into or confirm reasons for cancellation, this policy covers all cancellations without exception and we will make charges accordingly to the customer’s credit or debit card. Our reasons for including the above in the attachments: We have had a number of guests in the past who have let us down at the last minute, and so we felt we had to do something rather than simply hope that our guests would turn up! You may have a query in that quite a lot of larger hotels/guest houses only charge for a cancellation on the day, or will only charge for the first night of a cancelled booking, or even may only take a deposit. We are slightly different in that we have only 5 guest rooms. By the time that you are due to come and stay with us, we have probably turned down bookings from at least a dozen other prospective guests – at busy times it will certainly be many many more. We do not rely on passing trade. If you cancel you’re booking at the last minute then we can’t resell the room, we stand to lose 20% of our revenue/income which we are very unlikely to recover – which is why we would charge your card as we can’t resell the room.
