The farm is located in a tranquil hills and produces olive oil.

In the property there are a farmhouse, the swimming pool and two appartaments. Each building has bedrooms , bathroom, kitchen , living room and can enjoy great relaxing spaces without the guests can disturb . The farm is close to small towns ( Moiano and Villastrada ) , but at the same time as we see from the aerial photo is surrounded by green hills and overlooks the hills of Chiusi

The space

The main house, of around 90sqm in size, is situated on the first floor of an antique rural farmhouse and accessed by an external staircase. The house is furnished in a comfortable and traditional style, and features exposed beam ceilings. You enter into the living room, which contains a sofa and two large armchairs and a large fireplace, which in olden times the diners would have gathered around for their evening meal. There is a mezzanine above the living room, containing bookcases, a sofa bed and the television. In the living room there is an extendable dining table, which can comfortably seat eight people. There is a lovely and ample-sized kitchen, with traditional terracotta flooring. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large stove with gas hobs and an electric oven, a double sink, a dishwasher, a washing machine and plenty of crockery. There is also a dining table in the kitchen suitable for four people.

The other half of the house, which is separated by a door, contains three bedrooms and a bathroom with bathtub. Of the bedrooms, one is a double bedroom with wardrobe, bedside tables and chest of drawers and two antique chairs, one a twin room including wardrobe, the other a single room with a chest of drawers. The floors are wooden, except for the bathroom which is tiled.

Guest access

Guests have use of the pool and the garden table next to the pool and car parking in the barn. They may also wander at leisure around the extensive property.

Other things to note

During the summer you can take advantage of the many local festivals, where you can taste the local foods, buy local crafts ( pottery of Deruta eg. ), visit the beautiful museums of Perugia and Chiusi, take part in sailing courses on Lake Trasimeno, go quickly to the volcanic lake Bolsena, have riding lessons in the neighboring riding, cycling

La Casetta del Sole est une très belle maison située au calme au sein des collines du nord de l’Ombrie. Elle a accueilli sans problème notre famille de 7 personnes et nous y avons pu faire des repas avec des amis qui avaient loué l’appartement bleu. L’environnement est magnifique avec une vue panoramique sur la campagne. Les couchers de soleil sont à couper le souffle. La piscine est spacieuse et permet de se rafraîchir quand il fait très chaud. Vous trouverez un magasin d’alimentation à quelques kilomètres. L’accueil d’Anna Lisa et Uli a été très chaleureux. Elle n’hésite pas à partager toutes les bonnes adresses du coin et à donner des conseils pour les visites. Encore un grand merci à nos deux hôtes!

A really peaceful place to stay!! Beautiful landscape, and a very well equipped house. Anna Lisa and her husband are very friendly hosts and always there to help. Ping Pong table with the best view ever!

As a family of four, we spend a wonderful week at this hidden place on a hill. The sorrounding is quiet. And in every! direction one has a calming beautifull view. The flat in the mainhouse is spacious and extraordinary well equipped. The pool is very well maintained and situated very nice next to the olivetrees. There is lots to do within an hour drive or less. And we could have beeing entertained every day. But we also enjoyed staying arround the house, watching the view, listening to the nights... Last but not least Annalisa and Uli were lovely hosts, who gave us a warm welcome and nice chats inbetween, so that we felt much more as guests than tenants of a holiday home.

We had a wonderfully relaxing week with three young children here. The pool was refreshing in the heat and the kids loved it. Day trips to montepulciano and lake trasimeno were easy to reach. Beautiful views to appreciate from the barbeque and a well equipped kitchen. Thank you!

A beautiful property in a stunning location with 360 degrees views. The pool is lovely, set in wonderful gardens that offer shade or sunshine. There is thoughtfully arranged garden furniture and no shortage of sunbeds for all. The house is lovely and spacious, it was equipped with everything that you could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and everyone was provided with plenty of towels. Anna Lisa is the perfect host who was extremely responsive to any request for assistance. Nothing was too much trouble, we had a fantastic holiday.
