The paradise of Joke and Marius and their dogs lies on the centuries-old sandy path the Mûntsegroppe, hidden between the tree walls of the protected Coulisse landscape of the Frisian Forests. On a terrain of no less than 5000 m2 nature and tranquility. Here you can relax in a private park where birds of prey, hares and roe deer also feel at home.

On this sandy path, a connection route between monasteries in the area in the past, you will find the charm of yesteryear. It is said that the path that Boniface walked on his less fortunate journey in 754 to Dokkum.

There is plenty of room to sit in the sun or find the shade.
In the evening you can drink a nice glass outside by the wood stove and enjoy the tranquility.
Or light the bbq and make your own dinner.
There are plenty of restaurants in the area where you can also dine.

As mentioned, dogs are walking on the property.
They are sweet dogs who like to come and get a hug.
It is not handy if you are afraid of dogs staying with us.

Harkema is centrally located with fast accessibility to Drachten, Groningen, Heerenveen and Leeuwarden just half an hour away.

You shower at the owners' house on the ground floor.
Unfortunately there is no wifi in the house, but there is normal range for your phone.
We try to think along with the guests as much as possible and to make their stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. We can do a lot, but we cannot perform miracles. We welcome you to our B&B
