Fancy a luxury weekend break, midweek or maybe a longer holiday? This beautiful traditional property is situated in the heart of Franeker – also known as the ‘star’ of Friesland’s eleven historical cities. The building overlooks the Van Harinxmakanaal canal. Inside there are two luxury holiday homes equipped with every comfort. Both have been completely refurbished but retain the character and original features of the property. Everything is finished to a very high standard – and it shows! You will quickly feel at home here. And there is so much to see in the surrounding area. Jump on a bike and discover everything Franeker and its environs have to offer.

About the holiday homes

The building that houses our luxury holiday homes was built on the remnants of an old bastion at the beginning of the last century. The bastion stood on the rampart that surrounded the old city centre. This is an exceptional and central location!

The property has recently been completely renovated and refurbished both inside and out. The character and original features of the property were retained and great care was taken with the finish. All of this combines to create a classic and luxurious setting.

The building is divided into two holiday homes: Molepôlle 6 and Molepôlle 7. Both have their own entrance and include:

Payment Policy
The price shall be set on the basis of the rates applicable at the time, which are established by the entrepreneur., In the event that the entrepreneur incurs any additional financial burden after establishing the set price, which leads to additional costs due to an increase in charges and/or levies that are directly related to the holiday accommodation or the holiday-maker, then said costs may be charged on to the holiday-maker.
Cancellation Policy
In the event of cancellation of the contract, the down payment on the set price shall be deemed a cancellation fee, and the entrepreneur therefore bears no obligation to refund this sum to the holiday-maker., In the event of cancellation within six weeks of commencement of the stay, the holidaymaker shall be charged the total set price.
