Description
This is a delightful semi-detached cottage with a private loggia and garden to one side and a smaller terrace just in front of the main entrance. Villa stands in a dominant position on the top of a small promontory in the Poderone hamlet. This charming villa overlooks the village and from the terrace you can see the swimming pool which is located about 50 meters from it. The villa has a traditional Tuscan terracotta floor and a ceiling with wooden beams.

The private loggia is fully furnished with a stone barbecue and a table with four comfortable chairs and four deck chairs. This side of the villa is ideal for enjoying the best of the outdoors and dining al fresco. Entering the living room from the loggia there is, on the left side, a dining room with a table for four and a modern fully equipped kitchen.

On the opposite corner is a sofa and armchair next to the fireplace and a flat screen TV. On this side there is a very large window which provides the living room with plenty of light and a view towards the swimming pool. The lounge with its beautiful view and fireplace is a perfect setting for relaxing inside the cottage during the cool Tuscan evenings.

The modern kitchen, with a window over the work area, includes a large fridge / freezer, hob with gas stove, oven and dishwasher. There is a large useful countertop in this room.

On the ground floor there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. This room has a small terrace with direct access to the garden. The villa has air conditioning in every room. A utility room on the ground floor is equipped with a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board. Next to the living room a staircase leads to the first floor where there is a spacious bedroom with traditional Tuscan wooden beamed ceiling and a second tastefully furnished bathroom with bathtub.

The ground floor bedroom can be transformed into a double on request. If you don't ask for it at the time of booking, it will be a double. Unlimited WiFi, pool towels, bathrobes, linen, air conditioning and heating are included in the rental price.

Villa is located in a hamlet consisting of 9 natural stone farmhouses and equipped with a swimming pool, it is immersed in the splendid nature of the Maremma with a view of the sea coast. This is the perfect place from which to explore both the mountains and the sea. The coast, reachable in 45 minutes by car, offers gentle beaches, natural parks, fishing villages, tourist resorts all overlooking the clear waters of the Argentario Gulf in the Mediterranean Sea. The famous thermal springs of Saturnia can be reached in twenty minutes by car. Poderone is the ideal starting point for excursions to the sea, Monte Amiata, the southern wine region and the cities of the 'Tufo triangle' Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano, all reachable in fifty minutes by car.

The Triana Castle that can be admired from the hamlet is located 6 km from the town of Roccalbegna. It is located on a rocky promontory and is surrounded by medieval stone walls, which are still in excellent condition. Outside the walls is the church of San Bernardino alla Triana. The castle is located about 1km from the hamlet, so it is possible to walk there.

At Monte Amiata it is possible to ski in the winter and walk in the summer.
