The roof terrace with the breakfast. The rooms were spacious and clean,well decorated and good bathroom facilities. The staff was very friendly. The suites are very well located,everything is within walking distance. Although a bit hilly,but that’s the whole of Coimbra. We had the family room with our 2 kids.

Coimbra is a lovely old city with lots of history and restaurants. Penedo is a 15 min walk from the center, therefor quiet with a WONDERFUL view of the city. Take the University Suite. The house is a restored manor. beautiful.

After 4,300kms driving, we needed good rest. Beautifully clean, contemporary design, great location and walking distance to old town... yet, it’s the staff who really make this a brilliant place to stay...

Parking was easy along side street. Walking distance to everything. Clean and bright. Much thought given to theme to match the town.

The breakfast was the same every morning but it was good and there were several options. Also there was refrigerator space for guests to use and everything you need to cook your own meal (except your own food!). Great view of the city from the kitchen/dining area on the top floor. The place was always spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful. Building has a cool retro artsy vibe with cozy spots to hang out and a nice garden patio in the back. Lots of great places within walking distance. Bunkbeds in the dorm have privacy shades that can be raised or lowered. I enjoyed (twice) the little neighborhood restaurant/bar down the street that was recommended to me by a staff member.

A beautiful hotel with big rooms in a nice neighbourhood. The host is very kind, she even arranged a breakfast for us when we had to leave at 7 in the morning. We definitely recommend this place.

The room was beautiful and cozy. The psicología room was adorable. In the morning the sun come inside the window and heat all the place. Is like the time stops in there. It was adorable. I also loved the traditional touch of the place. Is an antique house but every detail has been well thought. It's one of the best places I've ever stay in city.

The view from the rooftop where we had breakfast is unforgetable. The hotel is a villa in aresidential area, very quiet and close to the University and Penedo da Saudade, a beautiful place which I would probably never visit if I was not haven choose this hotel

Incredible place! Very clean and beautiful, located in an old mansion with magnificent view over the city, very friendly staff. Comfy room with possibility to make coffee/tea, very varied breakfast. On top of that, I believe our room was not supposed to have a balcony - however, we got upgraded to the one with a huge balcony And, as a cherry on top, my husband had his birthday during our stay, and we got a very unexpected (and very pleasant) gift from the hotel: a small bottle of champagne, strawberries and pasteis de nata!

Good place, very cloze to Botanical garden and univeristy of Coimbra - amazing two room appartment with a great panormaic view balcony. Actually I think we had the most expensive option of the room available. Vut even if you take a cheaper options, you are allowed to use the share kitehcn on the top floor which has aan entrance to the terrace on top (amazing view as well) - staff was very helpful, we had some extraordy request for check in time, and the lady help to make it (thank you) - I highly appreciated all the covid measures taken, all the share items (like tv and a/c controllers) were covered with plastic and they measure bldy temperature and sanitized our hands uppon arrival - good and free wifi
